I had the most amazing experience in this gym. From the coaches to all participants, everybody helped each other out and made me feel welcome. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction into this sport and look forward to the challenges and achievements in training.The discipline you learn and the confidence you build is outstanding and it keeps you looking fit whilst not realising it. Its a great sport for all newbies to experienced and the gym will keep pushing you to new and better things. Big thanks to everybody there for your support.

Our family hold Southern cross jiu-jitsu academy in high regard its definately a place for the whole family to get fit and have fun. Our son attends and he loves it. The coaches are passionate, highly skilled, humble and fun. Everyone is so welcoming and they encourage/mentor you along the way. Really affordable it’s honestly the best decision we ever made. It’s like our second family, every member is so respectful and welcoming. Best decision you will ever make!

My brothers introduced me to Southern Cross Jiu jitsu academy a few years ago. This is an extremely rewarding sport and is so much fun. Everyone at the gym is extremely supportive and helpful. I’ve made a lot of great mates at this gym!

This is a great gym to start or continue your BJJ journey. The atmosphere is very welcoming and there are classes for all ages and skill levels. The instructors are clear and to the point and there’s always plenty of experienced people around who are more than willing to pass on tips to help you progress. If you’re thinking of giving BJJ a try then this is the place to go.

Strong, good quality club with a helpful and friendly atmosphere. Including the value-for-money this gym provides, it was a no-brainer to sign up. Several months later and I'm still here with new friends, a new passion and a healthy addiction. Highly recommend!

This place is a second home! l love coming here 4-5 days a week during the day, or at night! Hodge makes you feel welcome and teaches the right way! He is awesome. Everyone that goes to this school is a LEGEND. Very friendly and skilled! Tons of fun, my brother has joined up too! Every day has something different to offer. If you are looking to get started, this is a great choice :) Thank you for everything you have taught so far Hodge!
