Our recent renting experience with Elk Realty was terrible. The communication was very poor after reaching out multiple times for different issues. The process with getting our bond back was appalling and took months which could have easily been avoided with adequate communication on their end.

So far my experience has been very poor with Elk Realty. I was optimistic that it was a family owned business and would be better than the horror stories you hear, but have been disappointed and frustrated on regular occasions with Elk.Update: Elk have resolved most of the issues since I made this review and apologised for their mistakes. Changed from 1 to 3 stars.

We rented a property from Elk Realty 6 years ago. Very good and helpful people. Thank you specially to Alyce Keeblewhite. Such excellent Landlords who understand and care for everyone that rent their properties. Everything was good until a Bond Cleaning Company that we paid to do our Exit Bond Cleaning took off with our money so we ask Alyce for a few more days to do the cleaning ourselves, which she accepts. Thank you very much Alyce for putting people before money, May God bless you always. We will not hesitate to rent from this Company in future.

Absolutely appalling agency to rent through. Inconsistencies throughout the whole duration of my lease. Poor time management, does not follow the legalities in regards to renters laws / rights. Constant lies and deception. If you are renting from elk or looking to, make sure all forms of contact are traceable eg (email). Do not accept phone calls as confirmation regarding any legal documentation.
