Lake Barrine Day Use Area
Looked a little run down, and a sign said talapia have made it to the lake so the local fish will be in trouble. Unfortunate. Didn't do the walk so cannot comment on it. The teahouse looked dead when we stopped by. We did see two Ulysses butterflies here which was neat.

Lake Barrine Day Use Area
Lake Barrine Day Use Area is a nice place to stop for a picnic. There is a shelter with tables and benches. Nearby, basic composting toilets area available. The circuit trailhead starts next to the lake and takes the bushwalkers by the twin Kauris. In pleasent weather it is possible to swim in the lake.

Lake Barrine Day Use Area
5km lake circuit track is well maintained and easy grade. Nice rainforest scenery and several viewpoints over the lake.National Parks clean flushing toilets.Privately owned tea house serves oven fresh scones and good barista made coffee.

A lovely area to stop and have a walk around the rainforest. Clean tables with plenty of space for big groups, and good toilets.

♥️ Absolutely beautiful and magnificent place - I’ve been going here ever since a young child -lovely homemade Scones - Excellent Teahouse / Restaurant overlooking the ♥️STUNNING LAKE BARRINEvery relaxing enjoyable walks the the massively huge Kairi pine trees -Rainforest walk was wonderful- Highly recommended that’s from a local ♥️

Tea house is superb. Coffee and scones were delicious. The walk around the lake takes a while, but is easy and a well formed track.
