Seafood chowder a specialty. Calamari very good. Seafood fresh and well cooked. Oysters freshly shucked and delicious. Wine list very good and the whisky selection excellent. Highly recommended.

WOW--- what an amazing find and unique menu ---- good food and dining is about a boutique menu and atmosphere --- the Sea Shanty ticks all the boxes ---- service and staff are first class --- great value and will be one of my go to" restaurants"

Family friendly, very good place.The food is better than most of fine dining restaurants but the price is very friendly.Lake entrance is a quick stop on our trip but Sea Shanty literally leave us an impressive memory.Thanks for the wonderful service and incredible delicate food.

First time at Sea Shanty - definitely not last. Food was absolutely amazing right through to gorgeous desserts. Staff and service fantastic. Yummm! Highly recommended.

Dine in only and best to get a reservation for peak times. They are able to maintain a very relaxed atmosphere. Had some delicious fresh fish and chips with beer.

Great meal.Note that its a Seafood restaurant. The French is old news.The cook knows how to treat steak.The waitress knows her wines.The salads were fresh.No view, but nicely decorated.

We’ve been traveling around Australia for 5 weeks & spent a couple days in Lakes Entrance. We had a great meal at Sea Shanty tonight. Food was fresh & delicious and service was excellent. We had many questions & she was so kind at answering them even it was very busy. We had Calamari (entree special) & it was so tender best we had all Australia. I had Seafood Gumbo, perfectly spiced & my husband had Fish & Chips & he loved it. Too bad we are leaving we’ve loved to have more meals there. Ignore bad reviews & must try this place when you are in Lakes Entrance!!

Had a lovely lunch here today - a nice spicey Gumbo for me & local flounder for the bride.Waitress was lovely & helpful/happy.
