Angus & Coote

First went in store end of last week and handed in 2 small gold chains to be repaired. As I was not given a quote, it was written down and agreed, that the chains were to be fixed- only if under $50. Before I left it was also agreed that I'd receive a call to confirm quote on Monday and another once done (if I let it go ahead in the first place). Never received a call on Monday nor one once it was fixed. I called 3 times this morning with no answer, I ended up going in store. I approached a lady inside and she told me if my chains were fixed, I would have received a call- I said I did not. A man came out to show me that the chains were actually fixed (without my permission) and that the fee was $100.Another lady had come over to inform me that they had thought it was to only go ahead if it was $50 each, not $50 for both.If that's the case, I should have gotten a call to confirm if I wanted to pay $100 (which i obviously didn't). Ended up being charged $80. I was very uncomfortable to cause any conflict even on behalf of their stuff up and felt obliged to pay since I needed these chains back! SO disappointed and blindsided in the WHOLE process!!

My partner and I were very interested in the Alora engagement rings. Upon walking into the store we were immediately ushered out by Estelle and told to come back in 5mins as they were at capacity. This was 11.30am on a Tuesday, not a busy weekend. There were only 3-4 other people in the store browsing. We absolutely could not believe the terrible service we received. She did not ask if we were happy to browse and wait for assistance, she only told us we had to leave the store. We left the store shocked and will not be returning to buy rings from here.

Tried to hassle me into hurrying up when choosing a watch and I'd only been there for five minutes. Then, after purchasing the watch, the salesperson ripped all the tags off the watch without even asking me. I complained but she didn't care. Too bad if I want to gift it on, or resell it. They should learn not to mess with the customers goods without asking permission.

We're looking for a good ring that time, Not friendly staff the 2 ladies standing at the counter talking once you enter to that store they look not happy and not interested to assist you that's why we end up to helensvale very helpful staff

Staff not overly friendly or helpful but pleasant enough. Ring is nice quality and often get irritated from jewellery from other jewellers so very careful with who I buy from, but so good so far with this piece from Angus and Coote, so very pleased with purchase.

My partner recently asked me to get my ring finger sized up at Angus and Coote so I decided to visit your pacific fair store today. I walked into the empty shop and wasn’t acknowledged or greeted by anyone for a few minutes so I went up to the lady at the counter. I asked her if I could get my ring finger sized. Already feeling a little bit awkward this lady made me feel 1000 times worse. Here’s why. She started off the conversation by questioning me on if he was going to buy a ring here. I explained to her that he asked me to go to Angus and coote so I imagine that was his plan. She then questioned me and asked me why he wasn’t with me. I explained to her that he wanted to surprise me however needed to know my ring size before he made a decision. She then looked at me with a strange face and said are you really going to let him choose your ring? And does he even know what type of ring you want. I explained to her I was happy with a surprise (I shouldn’t have to justify that but whatever) She then finally sized my finger. She tried 3 sizes and said there you go. I asked her what size and she said well it doesn’t work like that we have our own specific ring sizing here and if I’m going to buy a overseas ring and use Angus and Coote sizing I better not come back to her crying like another lady had. At this point I felt so uncomfortable I just ended up walking out without knowing my ring size. I went home and explained the situation to my partner. He was horrified and felt so terrible that I had such a horrible experience. He will not be purchasing a ring from Angus and Coote like he had planned. So thanks to the blonde lady who apparently is your store manager. We will be spending our money elsewhere.

I am very angry with the older blonde lady who says she's the manager. I bought a watch and it lasted exactly 1 month before stopping working. The exchange/refund period is 1 month so i thought I'll take it back and at least get my money back. When i came in I was politeand nicely explained the situation, this woman didn't apologise, didnt acknowledge anything but rather rudely exclaimed we will need to send it overseas to get fixed amd cannot give you a time frame of when it will be back. It's now been over 3 months and i haven't heard a peep. She had a look of disgust the whole time she was talking to me however the only person she should be disgusted in is herself.

The staff seemed lovely, and Estelle in particular took the time to help me choose a necklace that was right for me! She was extremely kind and knowledgeable - providing many tips for maintaining the jewellery.

Worst customer service ever, I’ve bought a watch from there faulty with a scratch on it, I brought it back 13 days after because I change my mind on the watch I wanted to exchange it, girl there named soman or whatever her name is was being very hard and saying that she can’t change for me because apparently once u buy it and you take links out of it you can’t bring it back absolutely BS, didn’t show me any policy that says that, worst service not communicative at all DONT recommend you to go there if this samon girl working there be careful she might scratch your watch while changing your links

My partner and I walked in on a whim recently to look at wedding rings. We have visited another shop and fell in love with 2 rings but felt the service was average so we decided to leave and try another time. We walked by and I saw a ring very similar to the one my partner loved - it was gorgeous so we came in for a closer look. Jessica helped us and she was very easy to work with. The ring ended up being more beautiful than the original one we selected elsewhere and it was half the price! We really loved Jessica - she was friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable and just fun to deal with. We decided then to buy our rings. We would have gladly purchased the other rings at twice the price ... but customer service means everything to us so we spent our money with Jessica. We also recently sent in our friends to get their rings from her as well! Thanks Jessica!
