Dropped in and went for a quick test drive to diagnose the problem. Back at the workshop jacked up the car to confirm diagnosis.Wasn't the differential or transmission - wouldn't charge me for the work. Problem since rectified and diagnosis was spot on. Great guys who know their stuff.

My experience wasn't good. Apparently making a booking for a particular day means they need the car for three days even though I spoke to them on multiple occassions and didn't get told this until 4pm when I rang to see when I could pickup my car. After questioning why this wouldn't have been communicated to me and that I had had to arrange to work from home and needed my car the next day, I was told to pickup my car, they wouldn't service it and no car was worth that stress.Maybe not a typical experience for people here. The owner was very nice when I dropped the car off but perhaps there are other issues going on at the moment that led to my bad experience.

Not knowing a mechanic in VIC I had a look around and the reviews posted about Vic Diffs looked genuine so I took my Renault rear diff problem to Lou who did a great job, helped me out massively and was very open about the works done, couldn’t be happier with the service. Fantastic family business, 5* all the way
