The most amazing hair salon EVER, the staff are lovely, caring, open and welcoming to all, accomodating and do the most amazing job. They aim to please! I have always been absolutely ecstatic with the results, the products they use and sell are brilliant and the explanation of how to best care for your hair is greatly appreciated.In the last year that I have been going there my hair has gotten stronger, healthier and softer.They are the kind of hairdressers that listen to exact what you want.I was so frustrated before going there as I wanted to grow my hair and the previous salon would constantly cut too much off when I asked for a trim only and it was a losing battle. Not to mention the damage that had been previously done to my hair and the breakage that has been caused from over processing during my colour.Again I highly recommend salty blonde to anyone

Dont let Rachel to do Keratin treatment on your hair, she is not responsible for the outcome!I've been to this salon a few times for foils & cuts & they kept trying to sell their Keratin treatment, unfortunately I was deceived by them. Charged me $350 and burnt and brutally damaged my hair.Rachel left the salon halfway through the process and probably came back too late. My hair feels like straw every time after wash and wont untangle even after 5 times of conditioning with best hair conditioners.I went back to Rachel with my damaged hair and she kept blaming the conditioner I used, but I only used the conditioner she sold to me!!!!! Blaming is easy!Rachel did not feel responsible at all and her attitude is very low when comes to resolving the issue!I went to 2 different hairdressers and they both agreed that my hair is badly damaged by this process. I am now spending a lot more time and money to revive my hair and I was told that best way would be to cut my hair short and let it grow again.I am so disappointed and annoyed by Rachel specially when she refused to refund my money or come up with a resolution.I never recommend her to anyone.

Have been unsure of doing a review, so held off for a long time, I also know the owner does not take kindly to honest reviews (see below) but ultimately I just don't want anyone to have the experience I did so want to warn people.I went here for laser tattoo removal a while ago, and the technician burnt and embedded the ink of my tattoo and lasered the melanin out of my skin (I have a relatively pale to light olive skin tone).I had around a dozen sessions over the course of a couple of years here and I have since seen around 6 different tattoo removal specialists, learnt a lot about tattoo removal and can confidently say that the technician here does not know what they are doing.So, to list a few key errors; they turned the machine up too high, accumulating lots of heat in the area and the level it was turned too burnt and blistered my skin (causing embedding, hypopigmentation & hyperpigmentation). The sessions were also booked too closely together to allow correct healing (it's not about visible surface healing but internal body processes, too complex to explain here). They also provided incorrect aftercare instructions. There is a little more involved but it is too lengthy to explain here.When I started seeing them I didn't know any better, but began to realise something was off and it didn't feel/look right. I have since done a lot of research and most especially, spoken with (and been treated by) professionals who specialise in ink removal. I have also had other tattoos successfully and correctly removed and have seen how it should be done. The tattoo and my skin around it is still messed up and may always be, but I am hopeful in the right hands that over time it can be fixed.My recommendation is that if you want to get ink removed, only go to technicians who specialise in tattoo ink removal, not beauty salons who are only picking up this practise to make more money. Also, sessions should be booked 8 weeks apart minimum, and regular longer breaks should be taken every three or so sessions, to allow for correct healing. Also, as much as hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation and blistering are listed on disclaimer sheets and can sometimes happen, they really SHOULDN'T in the hands of a true professional. If you bleed/blister from laser tattoo removal it is too high and being done incorrectly.The regulation for training and then providing this service is flawed and new policy really is needed to prevent just anyone offering tattoo removal.P.s. One of a few fantastic removalists I would recommend is Hillary at Melbourne Tattoo Removal, they are really knowledgeable about skin, have treated thousands of clients and ONLY do tattoo removal. They love to help, and they will do right by you.Addendum: in response to the owners comments, I would clarify, I was given conflicting aftercare instructions like 6 months in versus our first appointment, but, again, after speaking with experts, clarifying good aftercare practises and having other tattoos removed safely it was the technique used here and the technician's knowledge base that was the issue, my aftercare was fine.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.If you don’t know what to do with your hair they are happy to help. As I had long and thick hair two of them worked while drying my hair.Alice was very patient and she did her best with colours to get me something vibrant and visible on my dark hair. Moreover, they know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend this place without a second thought.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!It was so informative, they actually explained how semi permanent colours work which no place has ever done before. No one would be able to say they’re not informative !!!!Never had a better experience at a hairdressers before, I believe the ladies were Rachel and Anthea! They spoke such kind words and had great customer service. I can not thank them enough for being so kind throughout the whole service . I had my hair cut, blow waved and coloured, the atmosphere was great amd we all had a great laugh and ofcourse my hair looked amazing at the end of it all. Should have left my review sooner and chosen this salon sooner . Honestly don’t have 1 bad thing to say about this salon . Worth it ❤️Thank you ladies! Don’t stop doing what you’s are doing :)

OMG Rach is the QUEEN OF HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! I had an appointment today ahead of a wedding I have to sing at on the weekend after being recommended by a friend. I was a bit nervous as I've never had extensions before, and having a super short hair cut that is in the awkward growing out stage, it was either going to be a hair cut to fix it up or extensions. She fit in an appointment for me, and 4 hrs later... I look AMAZING!!!! She even gave me highlights which I didn't know you could do with extensions! Rach was so lovely, and professional, and her team there are so friendly. Highly recommend the team at Salti Blonde and Co - you are in expert hands! - Dene (Branthem)

I had a fabulous experience today, Anthea was fabulous, she knows her stuff and I had full confidence in her. I look forward to my next appointment. I'll 100% b3 back.

Highly recommend this place I am originally from Werribee and I need a last minute blow dry while I was in burwood and she done amazing with my hair! I’ve gone from dark to blonde so usually hair dressers leave my hair dry and sticky with damaged ends but the owner (sorry I forgot her name) done amazing and I couldn’t be happier!

I have now been to this place 4 times. I started with very damaged, over coloured hair. Rachel explained the process to get my hair healthy again and we discussed a better more softer and natural looking blonde. I am so excited to see my hair in the mirror now! It is now a gorgeous colour which makes me look younger! and I am getting so many compliments. Rachel also fixed my daughter's disaster - green peroxide, damaged hair. My 20 year old daughter will now not go anywhere else. These people know what they are doing! Thank you again.

Transphobic!Booked an appointment for a mens cut, and got a call asking if I meant to do that or if it was for a man. I said I had a mens hair cut because I didn’t want to out myself as a trans man. But the lady said she would have to change my appointment to a womens cut so I explain I am a trans man. She still changed my appointment to a womens cut, VERY DISAPPOINTING.
