Had our place built by marklews 30 years ago. We are now doing renovations and all people and builders that are doing our renovations are in total shock over the EXTREMLY POOR AND DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP. the work could have been done by a 5 year old and it would be 100 percent to what has been done. We have basically had to demolish the house due to the horrid work done. If we could find the so called builders who did this work, could guarantee they would never build again. Would never use this company and if you do...be very careful..

I only just saw the review posted some years by KatAsh Easton and feel my experience with Marklews should be posted in reply. I built a house with Marklews in 1996. The house is on the waterfront at Phillip Island and has had considerable exposure to weather over all the years since. It remains in very good condition and I am very happy with the quality of construction which has lasted well over now a quarter of a century. Accordingly my experience is certainly very different than that said to be that of KatAsh Easton. I have over the years recommended Marklews as builders to others and based on my experience would continue to do so.

Using the nicest of language, the previous review of KatAsh Easton is just plain wrong - or a hoax.In the 1980's and 1990's Marklews were awarded Australia's Top Home Builder twice and Victoria's Top Home Builder five times. They have since won innumerable awards for quality design and construction.Marklews contact details are very easily found, yet the previous reviewer has not contacted, hasn't provided their name nor their address. Sounds like in 30 years this home has never been maintained or looked after. Poor home!B.E. MARKLEW
