Things have slowed down at Kuranda since covid, alot of businesses only opening Thur to Sunday for Markets,. Reduced rail services, not disembarking from Kuranda only Cairns area. Very sad to see for this once buselling and unique area. Jobs are vacant, waterfalls are flowing

It seems there is only one toilet in whole village. All the signs will point to this one which is about 500 meters from Skyrail. It is a disaster walk for someone who is holding. This experience can be definitely improved!

We went to Kuranda with little planning and arrived at around noon on New Year’s Eve. We were very tight with time and if it wasn’t for the helpfulness of the lady working at the information centre, we wouldn’t have enjoyed the day as much. Not only was she helpful, she was also very attentive, present and caring. Highly recommend anyone going to Kuranda without a tour guide to have a chat with these helpful peeps! Thanks again!!!

I have visited a lot of Tourist Information Centres during our travels in Australia and they are usually my favourite places to go first in a new city. But this one was sadly the worst I have encountered. I have never felt so unwelcome... The ladies behind the counter were arrogant and treated us like some stupid nobodies. We even gave them second chance and visited this place for the 2nd time in the same day and it was not better. I felt that I am annoying and disturbing them. Very poor customer service!! I was treated in a very rude manner by a very rude lady. Kurander is a beautiful place with lots of nice shops. Reading a great sign one of the local kids put together I missed the no entry sign through a door and entered. There was no one else in the information Center but the rude lady behind the desk was very very rude I would of loved to go in to this information Center to learn more about this great place but the lady that was in the Center was horribleness rude disrespectful inconsiderate. If she does not want to help people she should go dig a hole or live down a mine shaft. This have tarnished my experience of this beautiful place.

Arrived at the info centre not realising on a week day it closes at 3pm. Basically the door was shut in our face and we were told they were closing. Asked a few questions the rudest woman i've ever met said she was to busy to answer question as they were closing.I volunteer at an info booth at a tourist centre. If i spoke and treated our visitors the way we were, I would be addressed by my coordinator. Visitors are your bread and butter. Most traders in Kuranda we very thankful for our visits and any purchasers. If I was a trader in Kuranda I would be very upset with the way this couple so rude. This is usually the first place go for suggestions they are doing you an injustice.

Kind staffs and a small exhibition. You can also see some live frogs and redback spiders. What we can expect at a visitor center in a small village? I think it worths for 5 stars.
