Bajool Country Hotel
Great stop over , free camp across from pub.No showers or toilets but a fantastic feed, beer and toilets available in the pub. Margie behind the bar was sensational, great conversation ,cooked up some terrific Lamb Chops and managed to keep the beers flowing for all single handed. Thanks.

Bajool Country Hotel
We were passing through on 30/07/22 and happened upon the hotel by chance, we were greeted by a friendly lady who served good food and ample sized portions for a good price. If you’re passing through and are hungry recommend stopping in.

Great little pub, amazing TBone and by the looks of the other meals amazing also. Huge portions. Glass was never empty either. Was a great spot to park the van also with lots of grass. Trains right next door but surprisingly quiet. The 45852 rums may have helped. Perfect spot though for a quick night stop while traveling through. Thanks Bajool peeps.

Friendly staff and locals, basic menu but enough for a feed. Takeaway shop down the road as well. Free camp across the road, lots of room. Yes, there are trains and hwy noise, but it's a free camp, so not a problem. Plenty of room for big Van's.

Just Pork sausages, mmmmmLocal came it & chadded all had meal . Camping place is ok. It is what it is, pay no fee.Great place to stay overnight.

Located between Rockhampton and Gladstone wonderful little town the pub was charming it had the rustic pub charm publican Gene was a great young man and his mum Maree was a wonderful lady with of knowledge and if we hadn't been in a hurry I would if stayed longer but you never know if I win lotto I may just buy a house there the atmosphere of the town I loved it.

A must stop, great service and even better food but make sure your hungry the meals are huge. Good camp spot opposite the pub.

What a gem......found this spot by chance....Great camp spot across from the pub...we are self contained....also had tv coverage..bonus...The pub was the real bonus....the publican is wonderful.....the meal awesome ...so generous in size and fresh vegies....all 7 of them....the salad looked so fresh also....Big disappointment with council allowing a food van within 150 metres....small towns rely on its visitors to support them.....we did!

Bajool Country Hotel
Good spot for a stopover located just off the Bruce Highway, south of Rockhampton. There is an area across the road from the pub where you can camp, room for a few vans, but no facilities, so self-contained only.Hotel is usually closed Sundays and opens at 4pm on all others. Great counter meals and really friendly helpful staff, and the locals like a yarn. Recommended.
