I was very new to gym fitness before I started personal training with Jess. Right from the first phone call he was extremely approachable, knowledgeable and informative.Tailoring each session to my goals, making them challenging but also somehow fun and making sure that I felt comfortable and confident.He has given me the knowledge, support and encouragement inside and outside of sessions to allow me to be healthier and stronger.Would highly recommend!

I started training with Jess as I have an old back injury that was constantly flaring up when I was trying to follow workouts on apps. Even though I have years of experience with training in the gym I did not know which movements to do so that I could train to get results and not constantly injure myself.Jess worked with me for about 4 months and created a program that allowed me to train at a level I never thought I would again. I loved my program and would highly recommend Jess to anyone with any specific injury management that needs help getting past that fragile mindset and pushing yourself to achieve your goals. Jess has been working with the National Basketball team in Darwin (NBL1 Salties) in which I am an American import for the whole duration of our season. Since having him as our strength coach, I can proudly say his training program has helped me jump higher, run faster, and get stronger while staying conditioned. Im 29 years old— being able to jump up and grab a basketball rim as a female has been a goal of mine my entire career. And with his help, I’ve recently been able to do so. I also see the direct correlation from our movements in the gym being replicated on to the court. My defensive ability is at it’s peak with the added quickness and strength. Any athlete looking for a trainer to take them to their peak performance, HPC should be your first option!

I just came second place in my first 65km West Macs Ultramarathon and Jess contributed greatly towards this. I first approached Jess and asked for a gym program that I believed would help prepare me for the 1500m + Incline during the race and to feel strong to cover the distance without concerns. We caught up and he took a thorough history of my goals, current and past training capacity, past and present injuries and then spoke to me about my workload and how I could fit in my gym sessions on a weekly basis.Within the same day he had a program written for me! And this program was perfect! It was specific to my goals, achievable and realistic with my workload. He also went above and would track my sleep, mood, hydration, soreness, and stress with the same app that my program was on. This app was easy to use, and I could track my workouts and the weights I used in each. If any red flags were found, he would jump on them straight away and we would work through it. When I had niggles or injuries occurred, my programs were adjusted to accommodate for them. In addition to all of this, he would send frequent video’s explaining how my tracking was going and how he was going to change my sessions accordingly.During my race I felt strong and rarely needed to walk. I was complimented by other runners for my ability to run up the hills without stopping which I believe was attributed to the strength work that Jess prescribed in each of my gym sessions.Jess is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to creating personalised training programs or taking you through 1 on 1 sessions in the gym. He gives you many pointers that help you to feel the right muscles working to get the outcome that you need. Whether your goals are sport specific, building everyday fitness, losing weight, or recovering from an injury, Jess is the person for you! Your investment in him as your coach will help you feel confident that you are training safely.My only regret is that I didn’t meet him sooner to get started! Thank you, Jess, for contributing to my running success and going above and beyond.

Hi Jess. Just want to let you know how positively you have impacted my life. I turned 40 last year, had a near fatal head injury and a major upheaval in my work life. It felt like everything in my life was out of control and my physical health and fitness were also caught in the downward spiral. I decided to join snap fitness Coolalinga and got you to show me how to make it happen. I’ve definitely had ups and downs but with your coaching and encouragement I’ve been able to stay on the path and have achieved consistent results that I’m very happy with. While it still comes down to the individual to maintain discipline and do the work having your guidance and encouragement has undoubtedly been a big part of helping me reach my goals. Your input into my journey has definitely given me the tools to shape a life full of happiness, fulfilment and contentment. Worked with Jess for two months, and saw results almost instantly. Starting out with a few instabilities, insecurities, and a lack of knowledge, I’m now on a better path with a better understanding of myself and fitness at my disposal. I can now get into the gym knowing what to do, feeling confident in what I can do.I’m now in the best shape I’ve been in a very long time, with serious PBs to boast. A great trainer but most of all a good man. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
