Just a lovely place for a walk, picnic or wedding. Young High School and Saint Mary's Catholic Church on either side. Beautiful historic history for the traveller.

Great park. Good for kids parties and picnics. Used to be great for photo shoots, but they took down the hedge and now there are cars in the background of the photos.

Very well maintained garden park in Young. Relaxing. Have a picnic or just stroll around. Across the road is the beautifully architectured St. Marys Church. Worth a visit. M M.

Fresh. Enough shrubbery to find a reasonably private spot but not enough you can't engage in society at the same time. Family friendly yet peaceful.

Arguably the best free play equipment in town. A generous, sheltered barbecue and dining area (often used for parties) separates the equipment from a good sized open area suitable for kicking a ball or throwing a Frisbee. This open area is slightly sloped but surrounded by well established trees and allows plenty of room before Ripon St (for stray balls etc). At the eastern end there's another open area surround by a rose walk and pavilion (suitable for wedding photos) which is perfect for the annual Christmas carols jointly catered by the various local churches.

A great park for a small town with a decent playground for kids, shelter with a barbecue for rainy days and plenty of greenery for some nice scenery and for a bit of activity

Ok for a picnic with the kids. Nice grassy spots and a playground. Would have like the trees to have name plates so we could identity them.
