We had a lovely weekend here recently. The peace and quiet is matched by the period detail of the house and the friendly welcome and assistance you receive from the owners.Feeding the ducks, goose, rabbit and plenty of goats is so much fun for the kids and just strolling around the property is so relaxing. Having the night time BBQ and bonfire is such a treat and to top it off, the jacuzzi.

We just stayed for the weekend. The kids loved the trampoline. The breakfast hamper was perfect. Comfy and clean. The farm tour was great and the young man that took us on it very friendly and patient with the kids. We loved our stay, would highly recommend. Lovely touches and home made muesli delicious.

Amazing place. From the warm welcome, breakfast basket, red roof with green gables, and gorgeous grounds you couldn't want for more. The Farmhouse was spotless, well equipped and so much to do. Games, table tennis, jacuzzi and assorted farm animals. The setting was absolutely beautiful and between the stars at night with a fire pit and being surrounded by nature in very comfortable accommodation we'll be back. Our party was 4 adults (Mum and Dad, Grandma and Grandad) and 3 kids aged 14, 12 and 10.

We stayed here for two nights with two small children. The grounds, cabin and hospitality is amazing. Fresh home baked bread on our doorstep blew us away! Firewood was always freshly stocked for us and the room was stocked with really nice food from the area or from the farm itself. The ground are lovely to walk around and we had a grea tour from one of the kids feeding the animals. Really close to the main highway if you're travelling north or south and well worth a stop in on your way!

Very clean and had everything you need is there. The place had a real relaxed feeling to it a great place to take some time out of a very busy life. The breakfast basket was very well done. We had a great weekend there and would go again.

This is a magnificent experience. Not only do you get to enjoy your own private cabin with an outdoor spa and all the beautiful furnishings, but the hosts have thought of every small detail to give you an incredible stay. This includes gourmet treats for the evening and an amazing breakfast hamper for the morning (inc. Freshly baked bread). An absolutely incredible stay.

The only bad thing about Telegraph Retreat Cottages is that you will have to leave. Carla and Greg have gone out of their way to make sure you feel right at home here in their beautiful cottage. From the fluffiest of towels and the biggest breakfast hamper you could imagine, to a candle by the spa and a rug on the outside chairs for you to snuggle under. My only regret was that I only stayed one night. Will be back and will stay longer!

Even in the flooding rain, no power, no reception. We were warm, had BBQ, water n bathroom with a generator. Beautiful area. Peaceful.

Telegraph Retreat is a beautiful hidden gem. The private cottages are very comfortable, tastefully decorated and we loved the outdoor hot-tub! Have a stroll around the entire property to check out the animals, especially the donkeys. Thank you Mel and family......we'll be back!
