Do yourself a favour and don't buy a car here! I purchased a car from Chris recently and had problems from the very first night, they fixed" it shortly after and next day was still having problems. Took it then to independent mechanic and he found they had done that much dodgy stuff just so the car could drive but had thousands of dollars of pre existing problems. Obviously they got their own mechanic to do a dodgy RWC on it. I hadn't even had the car 3 months. Save yourself the stress and don't buy at starr motors!"

Do yourself a favor & stay way from this business. Chris do not keep his commitments & absolutely hard to deal with. I wish I can give them zero.Also I will recommend to get your own mechanic to check the car they sell.

I purchased a car worth $9,000 dollars on the 24/11/2021. In the ten weeks since, I have had to spend $7,000 in repairs. These repairs included replacing the radiator, hoses, valve gaskets and now, an entire engine rebuild due to damage caused by previous problems and a faulty head gasket.During the initial $2,000 repairs I contacted Geelong Starr Motors who were less than helpful. They refused to have anything to do with the situation unless their mechanics were the one to fix it. My mechanic was confident that the issues I am facing with this car were present before I purchased it. So, naturally I did not feel comfortable leaving the repairs in the hands of the mechanic who processed the road worthy.

I bought a car recently from Chris it’s the 4 th vehicle I’ve purchased from Chris.I highly recommend Starr Motors they are great to deal with.

Chris was fabulous to deal with. He gave us a very fair price for the 2005 Astra, and did a lot of extra things like, fix the air conditioner, front suspension and included a 3 month waranty and didn't charge extra. Car was detailed immaculatly and in excellent condition.Daniel, East Geelong

Don't shop here,Bought a car from here in 2019,Very clean presentation,Identified oil leaks from sump area when 1st inspecting car, car drove fine.Was promised all issues would be resolved during rwc by own mechanics.Since have had sump & rocker cover gaskets replaced due to oil leak that appeared to be a rear main seal, front upper control arm bushings replaced a causing bad death wobble, engine/ transmission mounts clapped out now replaced, by other mechanics.All faults appeared cleverly concealed, now a costly experience

Please make sure you read these reviews (my mistake for not doing so) before purchasing a car through Chris at Starr Motors. I have had nothing but trouble dealing with Chris (my car was back here getting fixed" within two days). I bought this car a month ago last week and have had my car for a total of 10 days. Chris allowed his mechanic to take out my engine light bulb (this makes my car unroadworthy) not to mention how dangerous this is (thankfully Chris wrote on text messages saying they took the bulb out). My car was supposed to come with "3 month warranty" but they do not honour it and will cut all the corners to do whatever they can to actually not fix your car. I wish I could write everything on here to make sure enough people know not to buy from here. Save your time and money!"

I bought a 30K vehicle here, supposedly 'goes like new, nothing to spend' etc. It broke down the second time I drove it. Turns out it had many issues. I was EIGHT MONTHS with no vehicle and Chris promising to get it going, or give me a refund or even return calls. Eventually I got a refund. Also, I was only given half of the promised amount for my trade-in. Beware!

I live in Hastings, purchased an old ute online through Chris. He had it delivered to my front door within days. A few issues with the vehicle, spoke to Chris again, he had it sorted straight away. Overall positive experience.Thumbs up.Thanks Chris.

Bought this 2004 prado from Chris. It was as described and very well priced. Having had the car for 2 weeks now I’ve found no fault with it. Easiest purchase I’ve ever made. Would highly recommend these guys.
