I was excited to find a takeaway store with so many gluten free options, but unfortunately I was disappointed with my meal. The batter on the fish looked very blond and was completely tasteless and unenjoyable. The chips were extremely greasy and I struggled to get through them. I'll get my chips elsewhere, they may be the only GF option at other stores but at least I'll enjoy them!

Really average, $12 for a large chips (bit pricey for qty we got) oil was old and chips overcooked. Needed to eat so slammed what I could down. Kids refused to eat them so had so get food elsewhere for them. Felt sick afterwards from the old oil.

Excellent fish and chip shop that does burgers and yiros too.Gets very busy, but service is generally fast, friendly and efficient.Parking around the area can be a pain though!

Service was OK, asked for crumbed which was possible but seemed like an inconvenience. Family pack was crumbed but the extras of prawns n calamari were not .. calamari overcooked and rubbery. Crumbed fish overcooked, chips cooked ok potato fritters oily and inedible. Overall expensive badly cooked in old or dirty oil. Can't recommend buying food from here unfortunately.

We luckily learnt that you order early as they stopped taking orders before closing. It was very popular and we had a fair wait. The yiros was good with plenty of meat but the chips were a bit over cooked. Great menu and they are efficient.

Ordered a grilled fish yiros and it was delicious! Very packed with fish and worth every buck. The potato fritter was okay, not the greatest one I've had, not much seasoning, very crispy though!

I won't go back here. Went there on a Saturday night around 6:45, ordered food and sat down waiting. While we wait the staff start putting chairs on tables all around us like they were about to close. I asked the lady and she abruptly said they close at 7.30. The place was still pumping. I saw a sign on the count that said no dine in after 7pm but we were in there before that so I thought the staff could have said you guys are ok to eat in. Guess not.We took our food and sat in the car. From the ordering to the being given the move along vibe I was starting to feel like we weren't welcome. The chips were plain and the fish was covered in something I have never seen before. Meant to be batter I don't know what this was but it was not nice.I saw who I assume was the owner and now I could see where his staff got the bad attitude. Just be nice to people.

Just bought some minimum chips. Nicely wrapped in paper how they should be. Chips were OK but little oily and bit of a oily taste ,maybe the oil wasn't hot enough as they were so busy in the shop and the place was packed. Staff were flat out busy. Very friendly and courteous.

The best fish n chips we've had since moving to South Australia a year ago!! The butterfish was perfect in a light crispy batter, thick, white, beautifully flakey fillets, the chips were golden and delicious. Unfortunately we are in Victor harbour for a holiday so will try to have it again before we leave. If we could get fish like this at home we'd make it a regular visit.
