I like their chain stores. I didn't go inside this shop but had a sneak peek and there were a variety of books on display. It's the price point that draws me to The Book Grocer. There's something for everyone.

Wide variety of books (the paper version) at ridiculously low prices. Some of those books are rather useless but some are really good. If you need to stock a bookshelf or are looking for an original present - check it out!

I went into the Elizabeth st store today 9-318 at 1:30pm and i asked the young lady there how much the cook books were she was very rude to me. I am really disappointed but realise with cheap things come cheap people. I will never go back to book grocer after this experience no one has the right to speak to anyone like that!!

Went in today at 5:40, after double checking their closing times to make sure I still had an acceptable amount of time to go in (they close at 6). At 5:42 the cashier told me I had two minutes before they closed... there was still 3 other customers in the store, who were also told to leave within the next two minutes. We all did, and I understand wanting to be empty right at closing time, but trying to close 15 minutes early seemed a little ridiculous
