I don't know how you all have complain about the hardships you go through. I myself have been connected to employment plus for at least 4years now after spending my previous 8yrs in jail. I have always had exceptional help from my network agents, I can say for a fact you get what you put in it's your life and effort is your responsibility the salvos will supplement the effort not laziness.

Salvation army Employment plus is the worst of the worst. The Newcastle regional manager is a heartless conman only interested in government money. Naturally, all the staff under him are apathetic and heartless. They are not interested in helping people, listening, treating people like people. Their business model is in the same spirit as dodgy used car dealerships. Only interested in their stats, so they look good on paper for morally impotent policy makers like Tony Abbott.Do not go here. If you have already signed up with them, you have the right to change at any time for any reason. Change to somewhere else before they demoralise you. There are job active providers that have great employees that genuinely want to help, the Salvo's employment plus is not one of them.

Despite having 2 current medical certificates saying I am unfit to do anything my centerlink is now cut off as I was to sick to attend my appointment today. ( first missed appointment) It is very sad when these jobseek people love to play 'god' with the poorest/sickest/most mentally unwell peoples centerlink payments like they are above us or something. Really shows a complete lack of humanity. Lucky I believe in KARMA

Covid safe, helpful and friendly staff

The fact its hard enough to get by without a job, but when none of the job agencies have ever actually gotten you one, you lose a bit of hope, but when you call these guys and tell you to walk 2 hours to your appointment because i only have $5 for the fortnight, yeah, pretty shameful. Especially since last time they never called me back after 3 days. Disgraceful, heartless, moles.

Do you like setting people up to fail? Love how the minority gets treated like trash.So they can send people to there op shops for free Labour but will not give you paid employment.Great job 10/10
