I have suffered with hearing loss for30 years due to a diving accident. I wasn’t sure if anything could be done, I was wrong. I made a appointment with Jason at Adelaide Hearing, he did a hearing test and informed me that I was almost completely deaf in my right ear and my left ear wasn’t perfect. He then informed me with the technology in hearing aids today he could set me up so that I would be able to hear from both left and right.I have now had my hearing aids for 6 weeks and I couldn’t be happier, I can hear sounds and voices from left and right.Jason was so easy to deal with he explained everything so I could understand what and how things would work.He adjusted my hearing aids 4 times in the 5 weeks to suit what I was hearing and wanted to hear.I would not hesitate in recommending Jason at Adelaide Hearing,Mitcham, to anyone who was thinking about hearing aids.

Jason at Adelaide Hearing has been fantastic. I had hearing aids before with another company but their service did not compare. Some years ago I suffered a sudden hearing loss due, it is thought but never proved, to a viral infection. The ENT surgeon referred me to Jason for a hearing test, my first ever. Jason impressed me with his professionalism and warm personality.After surgery failed to restore my hearing, I was referred again to Jason to consider hearing aids, something I had never though would happen to me. I was again impressed, not least by the fact that Jason’s practice is “hearing aid agnostic” - it is not bound to a particular brand of hearing aid.In short order I had my aids and was delighted with the result. I pointed out that my 90 year old father had been sold aids at twice the price of mine. Jason said that (a) he’d never sell such expensive aids to a man of that age; and (b) I would get no discernible benefit from extra expense over what he recommended.So he’s aid-agnostic, professional and ethical. A winning combination in my book.Over the years we’ve developed a warm relationship based on my ears and our shared interests in movies and desert boots!I cannot recommend Adelaide Hearing too highly

I ventured into acquiring hearing aids a couple of years ago and although the hearing professional assured me they were right for my needs i always found the lacking.After much conflict at home from not hearing conversations i decided to try hearing aids again, after a google search I contacted Adeliade Hearing, I could get an appointment at a time and location cvonvenient to me.I met Jason Sparnon, was tested and advised on the type of device that suited my hearing loss, when i asked about the style of device i had been supplied 2 years previously his response was that it would not adequately cover my range of hearing loss.Since accepting his advice I have found a whole new world of hearing"on a serious note I have now Aids which i can control to suit different environment

Jason has been my audiologist for over a decade. Adelaide Hearing is one of the few clinics that remain independent, which means he can choose the hearing aid best suited to my needs, and not be constrained to one company. He works tirelessly to adjust them, and provides his services well beyond the original fitting. He is also willing to work within NDIS guidelines, unlike many companies who cannot be bothered with the paperwork. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs hearing services.
