Great local hiking store with fantastic service from staff that are friendly and knowledgeable. Mont hosts a large selection of hiking gear from clothing to backpacks to lights and more.The do host big sales throughout the year. Keep an eye out for those, or join the mailing list for the announcements.Parking along the street and rear of the building.

I have not seen significant progression in my climbing recently - but was lucky enough to be helped out by A. Last week.They gave me excellent advice and experience from their climbing journey and helped me with a new pair of technical shoes. They were very patient and understood my requirements.Once I tested out the new shoes - i can see immediate results. Many thanks!

A truly wonderful outdoor store with lightweight hiking, climbing, caving and alpine equipment. Top brands including Mont, Icebreaker, Prana plus so much more great stuff in stock including specialist items that are not available in most outdoor stores.Mont sleeping bags have improved in comparison to my Mont sleeping bag which is still going well after 30 years. Unfortunately their service of a clean and refill of Mont sleeping bags is apparently no longer available.

As an outdoor recreation business I have found Mont terrible to deal with. Some products they produce are great however the way they treat businesses and guides from the outdoor recreation industry is appalling.The teams of adults we recommend gear and equipment will change

I visited Mont in search of the perfect backpack for my 6 month backpacking trip throughout Southeast Asia. I was served by the wonderful Sienna who thoroughly went through all of her recommended options. Sienna was personable, knowledgeable and attentive, even explaining the benefits that each individual backpack held. I eventually settled on an Osprey backpack, which is incredibly comfortable and I cannot wait to use. Mont is also home to a wide range of outdoor clothing, shoes and equipment. With such a good range of outdoor-related equipment and great service, I wouldn't want to buy anything outdoor-related that wasn't from Mont.

last friday, whilst i was waiting for a nice fella to get my size of shoe to try on from out the back, i was asked by a further 2 staff members if i needed a hand. they had extensive stock of lots of different shoes and great knowledge/ oppinions of all models. not to mention they were the only shop in NSW that had my size in stock of my preffered model. thanks guys, well done.
