The Stone Restorer

I don't normally write reviews but felt that I needed to this time around because Olav/ The Stone Restorer is outstanding.We recently had a plumber damage the seal around our marble bench and the sink and it led to a huge build up of mould. With a new baby and endless dishes I needed the seal and bench fixed quickly to be back in action. We also had a large crack in our marble that couldn’t be repaired according to other stone masons. But Olav managed to do the most seamless repair job that not only has structural integrity, it also looks phenomenal.- Olav and his team were punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and professional- The workmanship was amazing- Clean and tidy work. Olav ensured that all areas around our bench was protected. He also cleaned everything before leaving, including the sink and removed all the damaged and old silicone.- Provided after care advice and checked back in to ensure the sealant was holding well.- Excellent communication about the job itself, costs, time and education about the process involved. We would highly recommend The Stone Restorer, very easy to deal with being prompt with our initial enquiry, reliable and pleasant. A wonderful job was done on our Limestone floor removing a large acidic stain and other general stains on the kitchen floor. Very Happy customers.

Marble bench top looks like new! Olav and his son were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They covered all near-by surfaces and cleaned up afterwards. Would highly recommend.

I contacted three contractors for a quote, 1 sounded great over the phone but never followed up & another one told me he was too busy. All the Google reviews about Olav and his team are 100% accurate. Olav was the only one to view the job in person, was friendly, easy to deal with, gave great advice, & was very knowledgeable. The price was very competitive. I had accidentally used the wrong cleaning product on the marble tiles leaving them with lots of etching" (see pics). The dark tiles with the original gloss finish were a nightmare showing every tiny scratch and had several cracks/chips. I had them redone with the "honed" finish and couldn't be happier. My advice would be to save time/hassle and just go with Olav/The Stone Restorer."

Olav was recommended to me to repair a few chips in my bench top and I can see why, he was prompt and friendly and efficient and his cost was reasonable, I had gotten other quotes and some were quoting 3x more than what he was quoting.He explained what needed to be done and he even apologised for the noise he was about to make (which was very minimal). I have never dealt with any as pleasant as Olav and I for one will be recommending his services to my friends and family
