Balkan Oven Bakery Cafe
The old man serving the food is extremely rude and condescending. Talks down to people as if he is someone high and mighty but he probably doesn’t have higher than primary school education. He lacks basic skills in polite communication. You’re better off going to the other burek shops in the area that actually know how to speak to customers. I certainly will be spreading the word amongst my circle about my horrible experience at this place.

The coffee was good, but the quality of the Burek is less than that of other Burek vendors in the area. We found that the Burek fillings weren't even and too salty. We also left with a layer of fat on our tongues, which was unpleasant.Other negatives were there was no ajvar condiment offered or available, cash only and a pigeon infestation both in the shop and outdoor eating area.

Balkan Oven Bakery Cafe
This is the best burek in Sydney. It’s more than 2 hours round trip for me, but worthwhile when I’m in the mood. Reminds me of Belgrade, and be sure to buy some buttermilk to compliment the carby, greasy delight!
