Elysium Psychology

From the moment I first walked into Elysium Psychology, nearly five months ago, I have always been warmly welcomed. The reception and psychology staff there are always calm and friendly. An added bonus is when Siggy, their therapy dog (in training), is there too. Highly recommend Elysium Psychology for children and adults.

My experience with elysium has been a horror show. Going through a separation is hard enough. Manoli is so antagonistic that he makes it his mission to trigger me. I had my own psychologist send him a report, and he duely ignored in his pursuit of breaking me, every session. Resulting in a very adverse reaction. I warned him that he was pushing me into fight or flight, and he got both. If your marriage is in trouble, this bloke will ensure its end.

Wow, horrible horrible experience! They were more concerned about getting my card details on file more than anything else and after I told them 4 times that I wasn't comfortable doing that the girl on the phone said Don't worry we'll get one of the girls ath the front desk to get your card details when you come in. This is all before my first appointment btw. Multiple times they said they would call me back and just dont then you have to call them and they just say "I'm sorry I don't know what happened with that. When you finally get a hold of someone it doesn't even matter in the end cause half the time they just talk over you or cut you off. I don't know how they are still in business. If I could give zero stars I would. If been left more anxious and stressed out than what I was when I first intially called to get support.Please for the sack of your own stress levels avoid this place at all costs. This is my first review of any place ever and it was that bad of an experience I wanted to warn others that are struggling. Please for the love of God go somewhere else. They haven't got multiple bad reviews on here and elsewhere for no reason!"

HORRENDOUS. Do not, as a parent, take your child to this practice. Information you disclose privately and confidentially to the psychologist about your child may be read out in sessions TO your child without your knowledge and without seeking your consent, and (most stunningly of all) WITHOUT THE PSYCHOLOGIST EVEN PRE-READING IT. Bogus and illogical arguments about the teenage child being the client - not you - and reference to legislation that places ownership of what you unwittingly disclosed to the psychologist in the hands of your child (the client) may then be used to justify these actions as not requiring your consent. The practice manager Katy Dib may then defend the actions of her junior psychologist rather than display any concern for the effect these actions may have on you or even possibly on the client" for whom (you might think) her primary interest should lie. Reprehensible.UPDATE: Note also that the 5 star review that has suddenly appeared a week after mine comes from Michelle at Wise Owl Learning.
