I have a giant black dog. He’s the sweetest boy and loves his family. We lived in an apartment when we first brought him home and made the mistake of “socializing” him at the dog park. What we saw as rough play and learning to be a dog was actually more like bullying from larger dogs. When we chuckled as he ran between our legs to get away, we should have realized he was genuinely afraid. The result was a reactive dog who would pull like crazy on a lead whenever another dog was nearby or if there was a sound he couldn’t immediately identify. Walking him was impossible, we were always just a loud sound away from becoming a human kite.And then came Cally. Our dog hair covered guardian angel. She swept him off his feet, scooped up his lead and walked him away from me. Ten minutes later she was back with the big idiot trotting along happily beside her. And then she showed me how to do it. You see she’s not really a dog trainer, she’s a human trainer…we’re the ones who need to learn what to do. A single one hour session was all it took to turn around a year of being afraid to take him anywhere. Now we have a dog we can walk anywhere, around any dog or human, in any setting. Later we booked another session so our 12yo could also learn how to manage him on her own. Best. Money. Ever. Spent.Cally as soon as my broken ankle heals we’ll see you for some fine tuning and that advanced class you invited us to. Until then much love from Loki and all the Spences.

What Tally wags has done for my family means that we get to keep our very much loved family dog Koda the German shepherd. She would constantly jump on the kids annoy the cat. Think of me as a pack mate and not an owner. And soo many other things. We can’t wait to have her back home with us and start the new life with a very different family member. Can’t thank you enough.

Cally is the dog whisperer!I really did think my dog was broken LOL, but she has her own amazing way to communicate with dogs that is actually easy and simple to follow.I was just about in tears when we reached out to Cally for a one-on-one training session. I was so overwhelmed and was struggling with a really bitey puppy.She just broke it all down and gave us the tools to deal with the unwanted behaviour. Consistency is key but she made me love my dog a little more!Thank you Cally for empowering me to teach him and most importantly, enjoy him.Buddy is the bestest boy now – still mischievous! But he walks nicely on a loose lead and stays on his mat inside and no more biting!

The missing two stars:1. Change of location with notification only two days earlier via email, when it’s not possible to cancel the session and get the refund. Had to drive an hour to get to the place.2. Covered only one out of four items I want to focus on during the training. I filled out the form, but there’s no plan to go over the training items.===updated in response to the reply===- First of all, when you relocated, you did not inform me right away, and only sent me the SMS and email two days earlier. And I did reply to your email on Friday morning asking if it's still possible to refund and got no reply.- Second, the 30 minutes' drive is my limit especially on a Sunday morning. If you say that it's only 25 minutes more and it's okay, but this logic does not necessarily apply to everyone. It turned out that I had to get up before 5 am that day.- I did struggle with walking my dog properly, but not to the extent you described as 'barely hold him without pulling around'.- Gaining control is the main focus that morning, but I did not expect it to be all there was in the training for a price tag of $250. And I did fill in the form carefully describing the main expectations and you did not address any of the concerns I mentioned in the replied email (and only replied with all kinds of links with no customized content). Again, it would be better if you told me all you can focus is the gaining control beforehand (or even what you can do with the training in general by communicating with me even for once before the training session), then I would reconsider my booking possibly to get a more targeted training for my GSD. Apparently you failed to do so, and it's disappointing.

Highly recommended, if your persistent with what they show you to do you will get results my blue heeler used to be pretty reactive to other dogs while i took him for walks now he is pretty good and is doing his best to ignore them i can now walk past other barking dogs and he doesn't react back like he used to and he doesn't pull on the lead , I was amazed with what they could achieve in a 1on1 1hour session I'm still practicing what they showed me and once bruce is a bit better I'm definitely going back for some more sessions totally worth the money for the training they provide thanks again from me and bruce :)

Amazing! Highly recommend if you are serious about committing to the work. Cally works magic in just one hour. I've learnt so much and look forward to having my skills improved during group classes.One significant improvement that has stuck very well is controlling Charlie's tendency to lunge at cars. We are still working on completely ignoring them, but we can confidently walk along the street without losing our sh*t" when a car goes past!"

Highly recommend. Please take the time to read the below if you really need a dog trainer.I was lucky enough to purchase a puppy from Cally in February 2023. Lass is a Border Collie and only 8months at the time I got her. Lass is trained so well, that well, that I have not had to use Cally’s training sessions since.Cally’s training is extremely effective and has been very successful with my dog. Lass has followed all the same training since being home with me as if I was the one to train her all along.I also got to meet all of Cally’s dogs that she brings along to her training sessions and they are all very well tempered lovely dogs. They are fantastic for role modelling behaviour.My dealings with Cally have been extremely positive, she is a very kind and caring person, she invited me into her property which is also her business and home. Cally’s training facility is clean, open and an inviting environment for a dog who may be nervous about being trained or being around other dogs.Cally has made herself available to answer all my questions, she has been very responsive, informative and I have learnt a lot about dogs and training within the short amount of time I’ve known her.Once you join up with Tally Wags there is also a Facebook group you will be added to which seems like a great little community and Cally adds extra tips and tricks in there and is also very responsive to members on the page, which I believe is going above and beyond for her members.Moving forward, if I were to get another dog, I would be going through Tally Wags Dog training not just due to the fact that I know the training has a very successful outcome, but dealing with a business owner that cares about the dogs and the dog owners equally the way Cally does just puts her above the rest.

This lady came in to my business and treated my staff so poorly, it was beyond disgusting. Apparently it was justified because she is so busy training dogs that she doesn't have time to waste even though she picked the wrong item. Just do not get on the wrong side of this lady, next level entitled you will get!

Tally Wags Dog Training
Our one on one session with Tally Wags Training was better than we could have expected..our girl is over 30 kilos and after one session and practice at home our girl is walking beautifully on a lose lead. She is no longer pulling and we have stopped using her harness. she is also great around other dogs..Cally was great at educating me about behaviour, training, food and leads during the training session and afterwards. I will continue to recommend her to others and when time permits will be signing up for some more training…thank you so much again Cally from Evie and her mum
