Finding a good Pharmacy when you move to a new area, is as important as finding a good Doctor, and just as difficult. For me, after trying two others, Amcal Forster is the absolute BEST.The staff have been wonderful, going as far as contacting me the day after setting up my MedAdvisor, to let me know that the app was up-to-date and ready to use.I also like to have a good rapport with the Pharmacist themselves, in the event of queries with new medications or general advice. From day one, I've had great support from two Pharmacists, who both provided exceptional advice and help on separate occasions. To me, that's proof of a good Pharmacy. And knowing that if I can't get over there to collect my scripts , they will drop them off to me, is just fantastic too .Additionally, everyone is extremely courteous, smiling, happy and helpful. In short, everyone makes you feel like you matter, so how good is that?They have a huge selection of hats and sunscreens, makeup, toiletries and gifts, which tops off everything else that's good about this great pharmacy .I almost forgot to add that they are open 7 days a week until 6pm , except Christmas Day., another bonus for me, because the 2 previous pharmacies I went to, were only open til 5 on weekdays and closed at lunchtime on weekends, if they were open at all.

The worst customer service experience I ever have.Called in the morning to make sure my vaccine is available to be pick up after work so I can go to the Dr on time, I've clearly explained my situation and the lady clearly said no worries but when I'm arrived no body acknowledge that I Called in the morning and make me wait. And the price is dearer than another chemists aswell. Bye bye never coming back.

Staff are friendly and helpful but could brush up on sea sick tablet knowledge, as asked for non drowsy tablets and bought the very opposite.Unable to function and cannot drive back.to home to The Palms.....hmmmm.....

I've been dealing with Amcal Chemist here in Forster for the past 15 years. The Chemists themselves are very very knowledgable and are never to busy to take the time to explain any concerns. Like any business they have days when they are rushed but they always show professionalism and genuine care. The staff themselves are always pleasant and happy to help. I cannot say better things about this place and their staff.

Extremely Poor management and terrible customer service. Seems like they can’t keep staff as I never see the same people on anymore.

After attending another chemist within Forster, and being treated with the rudest customer service, it was a relief to walk into Amcal Forster.. My Mum received a chemical burn while we were on holidays, the pharmacist came over to check if my Mum has ever used the cream she was being given before.. I had to leave to go and grab the creams we had used that created the chemical burn, but even when I got back he was still speaking to my Mum with utmost respect, didn’t shame her or make us feel dumb.. We were actually relieved after leaving the store and felt better about the situation.. Will definitely return if needed upon our next holiday!

I was very happy when this chemist opened in Forster .. I though it would be great competition. However, after a pretty upsetting and nasty experience this morning I can only advise people to be very careful ... this chemist does not refund anything, even if it is their mistake. I asked for advice and was given the wrong advice , the manager refused to refund or change even though I returned the items less than 18 hrs later ... they were with completely sealed in original wrappers ie totally safe to resell.The manager on duty was quite rude and abrupt . the other staff were lovely and I felt they were upset by the managers attitude...they too had been mislead by sizing on the itemsWe are all being charged excessively for protection items at present and it upsetting when retirees waste money on unsuitable items ..I do not feel comfortable going to this chemist now even though I have had good service previously.. it must be disappointing for other staff

Fantastic staff, helpful, polite, and willing to help, plus everytime u walk in u get greeted with a happy smile. Great place to shop.
