Capital Chemist Dickson

Fantastic Service. I get so many prescriptions from them, that I hit the safety net in July, so I have a lot to do with them. They even offered to stay back for 20 mins one night when I needed an emergency prescription made up. They are always friendly and accommodating - not always fast because they have so many people waiting for prescriptions most of the time - some they even have to deliver. You have to wait your turn and some people don't like to do that. They are so good when people give them a bad time because they've had to wait. The pharmacists are very good with their advice and with what they are allowed and not allowed to do. It's so hard to tell people, that what they want is not possible, in a kindly way, but they manage it. They monitor my medication carefully and even send someone out regularly to go through it and make sure they all work together. I am lucky to have found such a caring and conscientious group of people.

Like the other Capital Chemists, this pharmacy is clean, friendly, knowledgable and efficient. It has been impressive in the ever-changing landscape of dealing with the pandemic. I was particularly impressed by its quick distribution of the available RATs tests when, for a brief couple of days, a shipment was available.

Price is at least 2 times higher than Chemist warehouse! You can check this.!

This is simply the best Chemist in all of Canberra! Really puts the discount pharmacies and warehouses to shame with quality of service here. Not only are the pharmacists amazing, but the floor staff are just as equally incredible, friendly and helpful!

Thank you to Capital Chemist in Dickson for consistently providing the best customer service and especially for looking out for your more vulnerable customers, today Yusuf and the team went above and beyond to assist my grandmother with her diabetes medication. There was a mix up the previous day and it was remedied today without a hitch. Once again thank you Yusuf for your big help to my grandmother, she really appreciated it and was really happy and satisfied.

Really lovely staff. I was two mins away and calles to say I was on my way. They were about to close and when I got there they had just locked the door but were kind enough to serve me anyway. So grateful as it saved us having to drive into town to another chemist.

So many times the wonderful staff here have helped me. No matter where I am, I always choose Capital Chemist!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great customer service

This chemist is outrageous with their pricing! How can the same brand of chemist be charging almost 80% more for the same product than one at a different location?? I normally purchase my medication from Capital Chemist in Kingston for $13, then decided to get it from the Dickson branch recently only to find that it is $23 for the exact same meds!! How do you even justify that? If you go to say ‘Coles’ in one location vs another you would just pay the same… This is not the only example with this pharmacy’s pricing either, they do the same on many other products too. No brand consistency whatsoever and just blatant price gouging!

Arrived after closing to get crutches for my daughter. They reopened, checked their stock, didn't have any but called ahead to their partner chemist in O'Connor and got the right kind and size of crutches out on hold for me to pick up. Wouldn't get that kind of care from a discount chemist.
