Comfortable, great linen, well maintained & pleasant staff. Peaceful, not quite budget but worth a look

Stayed here for one night. On arrival, it was hard to find our room as there is no reception desk, we drove around about 5 times trying to find where we could also park.. thankfully there was a man walking around who happened to work on the lodge and gave us directions to our room.When we found our room, the room overall looked tidy, except that there was a dead moth on our window sill and stains on our shower flower which was easily removed once I poured boiling water over the shower floors. There were also 6 empty beer cans on our porch.. And lastly, there is no reception in the area, but there is wifi once you’ve connected to the lodge wifi.The kangaroos and chickens outside our balcony were great entertainment for the kids. If you want a simple stay, definitely stay here - i’d rate it higher if it were cleaner and easier to find. Otherwise, if you’re not too fussed, its a great quiet place.

A beautiful hotel. Tranquille. Many Kangaroo encounters. Nice hiking into the adjacent national park. Great for bird watchers. Views of the adjacent river. All we regret is that the dining is not open on Monday nights - we hear its fantastic.

Loved our Riverview room. The food from the restaurant was also excellent. I rarely go restaurant food but this was superb. Finished every morsel. Very reasonably priced for what you got. 200m walk down the hill to sit on the Jerry in the evening. Great spot. Lovely staff.

A very good view deserve a long drive. Staff there are very warm and they are so kind that treat us even on public holiday. Coffee tastes good. And we surprisingly met a wild Kola in there!Rooms seems clean and good view.Feel sorry that forgot to ask their names. We have a lot fun there!

Last night we enjoyed a superb meal at the restaurant. We were served by a pleasant, professional young man who gave good advice . The chef is to be congratulated as the meal was delicious. We will return.

The lodge is in a beautiful setting with amazing view from the dining room deck and our room. Koalas in the trees around the lodge. Staff were superbly helpful and the chef made us delicious vegan meals. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we were well looked after.

This is a perfect place to take a calming break from it all and unwind. The location is peaceful with nice easy walks through the bush around the tranquil lake.Room was very nice and restaurant served wonderful meals.

We had dinner at Gipsy Point Lodge last night after exploring the inlets by motor boat & kayak in the last couple of days. Our 2-course dinner was delicious & included seafood pie, prawns, rack of lamb & vegetarian pizza. We sat outside on the deck in the perfectly warm & still evening, amongst the eucalypts & banksias. We saw kangaroos & a koala, not to mention the ever-changing Genoa river view as the sun set. The service was friendly & helpful. We would love to return. Thank you!

Normal rooms with nice view (we booked the river view). What really made the difference was the outstanding dinner at the restaurant - best food we had on our travel so far
