Great place to go for material, buttons, knitting needles and other preloved notions. Even has a few cheap sewing machines. It was worth the drive from West Brisbane.

Called in today looking for something quite specific. The ladies were really helpful & looked around for us kept bringing fabric they thought might fit the bill for us to see. I left with 4 metres of fabric for $16. The haberdashery looks wonderful & well organised.

I popped in to drop off some of my excess fabric and walked away with embroidery threads, zips, sewing thread and knitting yarn. This is a fabulous place if you love a good rummage and the excitement of never knowing what you will find.

Could not recommend this place enough, it's such a treasure trove of supplies at such great prices. There's such a huge variety of items for all sorts of projects. It's a real asset to the community.

This place is great! The ladies are so helpful and giving of their time, knowledge and expertise. I've done a couple of workshops now and their patience in assisting me was wonderful. The haberdashery shop too is so economical. Thanks ladies....looking forward to the next workshop I decide on.

A wonderful concept recycling & upcycling donated haberdashery to the community, whilst providing training and a friendly environment for all who are interested in working with fabric. The volunteers here are a jovial and very friendly bunch, who make you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The gardens are also a fantastic way of getting outside and enjoying the sunshine here.

What a great find; so much to see: fabric, patterns, buttons, wool. The haberdashery is extensive. I love buckles and found some gorgeous vintage ones. All so cheap too!The staff are lovely. They take donations too so if you have some sewing items you are not going to use this is a great place to give them to.One thing that delights me is they teach people to sew!

Wow what a surprise to visit this area near the church. This op shop is housed in a beautiful white veranderd building with black painted trims. It was a real find!I went for a visit with a friend and we were ecstatic at the beautiful presentation and quality of the goods for sale.In addition, we were so impressed by the friendliness and can-do attitude of the staff. There are two sections to the charity shop. One is suitably named Garage that featured ornaments and some other beautiful household goods.Inside the veranderd house there were separate rooms with great offerings.Ine front room housed racks of sized clothes, another room had handbags & shoes. Yet another room featured kitchen goods. There is also a toilet and bathroom. In the centre area is a cafe. You can have coffees and cakes on the veranda or inside the building which is air conditioned. The only small downside to this place is it only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 till 12 noon.We had a great spend up and we'll be back again. What a delightful outing it made.

Very difficult to negotiate traffic to get there. OK if you know what you're looking for. Very friendly, helpful people working there, but I didn't buy anything - all a bit overwhelming. No knitting patterns
