Elgas Tamworth

Without a doubt one of the most incompetent businesses I have ever dealt with. I must have been crazy to continue with them for so long. Continually unable to meet their own standards as far as service delivery goes even after the local manager did a visit to “solve” the problems. Out of gas again. Avoid!

Never answer their phone, most expensive gas supplier in town and never deliver when they are meant to they just keep pushing back the delivery date. Absolutely useless, go with Origin instead.

This reveiw is especially for JADE!! In tammworth iF could give NO stars or even MINUS stars i would!! These robbing so and so's have made our life hell for the last four weeeks !! Then wake up thismorning with a direct debit amount of $287 MISSING from my our account with no warning , no email , no messege NOTHING !! This is the tammworth branch that we are dealing with!They took a full bottle from our house and NO reimbursements on our account ! I would not recommend ANYONE to go with ELGAS ever ! Unless they want every cent stolen from their ACCOUNT !!

Takes them 2 weeks too show up and then don't replace because we had to use smaller gas bottles that were attached and it's all to difficult to remove them worst company I have ever felt with. AVOID

Extremely poor customer service! Run out of gas twice! Tried to amend delivery but because I couldn’t get through to the Tamworth store, communication within was not passed on. No apology and wanted to charge me $68 for urgent delivery for her own stuff up! Closed my account and have gone else where!!

It's next to impossible to contact them directly and their customer service can only communicate between each other through email. The fact that El Gas still exists is through lack of competition and nothing more.

Someone at the Tamworth branch must hate me. We have had nothing but constant supply problems due to the scheduling of our gas resupply. The drivers are friendly efficient and professional but someone in the office seems hell bent on me running out of gas for my hot water and cooking.The most recent event of many is that we had removed one of the 2 bottles we were paying rent on because the scheduler assumed because we had 2 bottles it was ok to let one of them run out before they even considered resupplying us even though I expressly stated on repeated occasions that the second bottle was for emergency purposes only and I was paying the extra rental for my benefit and not to allow them to top up less often. So after finding that the only bottle we had was almost empty last week I called stating we are nearly out of gas please top up" I was told we would be refilled first thing next week. Mon no top up Tue no top up Wed no Top up Thu.....out of gas. On calling the local Tamworth office was redirected to a call center in New Zealand that told me someone would be in touch after an hour we called back and was told someone would be in touch.....no call no gas not hot shower no hot dinner...THANKS ELGAS."

Deliveries not within stated timeframes. Nil communication. High prices. Waited 10 days for delivery. Ended up changing to another provider who delivered in 70 minutes. Customer service advised they would pass on feedback to higher ups; highly doubt that will change anything.

Terrible Service provided by Local staff/ Team Leader. They want to charge you extra every transection as truck is not in the delivery area.Called competetor company, Supa Gas. Gas bottles delivered in 3 hours with 1 free Bottle.They also charge for picking up their empty bottles where its shoud be part of the service and its their property.Apologies as I coudnt rate less then one.

Been with Elgas for over 10 years and it’s been nothing but a major headache to deal with. They are the worst!I strongly recommend that if anyone is considering them for gas supply to reconsider and go with someone else. Also their customer service is so bad and rude. If I could give them minus stars it would be minus 10! Absolutely the worst of the worst! Choose another company and NOT ELGAS!
