Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail
Track over grown to point can't ride through, wouldn't hurt council to run a slasher through it so you can actually see where your ridding, grass is near 5ft high.... Waste of a drive out here to use this trail

Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail
Have walked several sections of this trail. Kilkivan to Murgon is gravel, Murgon to Kingaroy is bitumen. So far I have found the Murgon to Wondai part of the trail the most interesting to walk. It is bitumen, has some gentle gradients, creek crossings ( with bridges) and is mostly shaded by trees. About 12km one way, casual walk with the dog takes around 3 hours. You can then enjoy a cold one at the Royal Hotel Murgon or the Wondai Hotel depending where you started from!

Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail
Love this rail trail, although haven’t done much north of Murgon due to storm damage. But the bitumen surface is easy to ride on, plenty of food and coffee stops on the way to Kingaroy, making it a very pleasant cycling experience.

Mountain bike was stolen from Murgon campsite, police station was open but no one answers the door or intercom.Do yourself a favour, do the Ipswich to Yarraman rail trail instead.

Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail
This is a self guided trail, laid down over the Kilkivan to Kingaroy railway, which was decommissioned in 1968. One can walk, cycle or horse ride, choosing your level of distance as suits. Bring plenty of water, especially during summer, as there are no taps until you hit the main towns along the route. Great for the whole family, very scenic, and being a rail line, no steep gradients. Highly recommended

Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail
We rode from Kilkivan to Goomeri and back . 76 gates in all to open and close was just ridiculous . We found exhausting getting on and off our bikes.
