Lunch. Arrived early but was only allowed in at 1200hrs. The steak burger and steak is fantastic. Service is impeccable. They'll keep your phone in a pouch and store it somewhere during dining.Will definitely make a return trip.(No pictures as phone are kept)

Fantastic steak. Had a client dinner here and the service was exceptional. We all had to surrender our phones but that was alright. Got lost trying to find the place as its underground and had no sign on the door but that was part of the unique experience.You have to try their mouth watering Wagyu Beef burger.

Dined here as a group in one of the private rooms. Staff were friendly and well versed. Food was delicious, especially their wagygu burger and the ribeye steak. We were asked to put our phones in a fancy leather pouch and these were kept safe for us throughout the night so we could focus on the dining experiencing and socialising face-to-face. I get the rationale but also find this rule a little restrictive. People these days want to take photos of their food and update their social media, and may need their phones on them for various reasons, so to have them them taken away was irritating. This is also the reason I have no photos to share as the only photo I could take was of the menu before our phones were confiscated.

Loved this dining experience! They didnt ask us how we liked our steak and it was a tad bir red to my liking but still delicious overall. Drinks were nice! The sides were better than expected, especially the mac n cheese.

Ate here in the private dining room as part of a bucks night. Food was amazing, with the steaks were cooked to perfection.Staff were very friendly, attentive and made the evening very enjoyable.Highlight was deconstructed martini, which allowed us to experiment with different flavour combinations. A highly memorable night!

Had the boneless ribeye, spinalis and English cut.Get the English Cut if you want pure beef flavour bomb. The side cuts of beef fat is intense (might not be for everyone, but they have lean cuts as well). Absolutely amazing. Loved the complimentary bagels with different spreads.Service is great. Friendly and professional.Dim lights with low smooth music, no phones allowed. Love the atmosphere

Amazing steakhouse, themed as an underground speakeasy.The restaurant had a rule for no photos while inside, they even take away your phones in a pouch.Added to the experience as we got to focus on spending time with each other for dad's birthday lunch.Steaks were phenomenal, they specialise in rib eye.The waiter recommended a burger for the entree - glad we listened to him as it was the best burger I have had in a while.Will definitely come back!

Went to the lounge section without a booking on a Friday night and they seated us within minutes. Best burger I've ever eaten. The picture doesn't do it justice whatsoever. I was concerned that it wouldn't fill me up as there was no fries on the side but just the burger alone was perfect. Service was also impeccable. Cannot wait to go back and try the steak! Tip: Get the burger with bacon.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Gidley, atmosphere was perfect for our Monday night. We arrived early as our previous engagement finished early, so we were seated in one on the booths at the bar. You can order entrees and small meals, extensive range of wines, spirits and more. The attendants from the moment we walked in and during the night were friendly, attentive and accommodating. Once seated at our table, i informed them, I am coeliac and this was not a issue for the kitchen to cater gluten free meals. Tomahawk was cooked to perfection, salads well balance and every mouthful full of flavour. thank you to the Team for a wonderful experience. Will return.

Great food and service but the noise was deafening. We were placed on a seat in middle of the restaurant near the toilet and kitchen entrance, there were two big tables on each side. Couldn’t hear what my partner next to me was saying. We had dinner early 1730 despite this restaurant was completely full. I had dinner here before but seated in different location and it was ok.
