Very early on in our wedding planning my fiancé and I said to each other we’d practise our first dance at home once a week. Well life got in the way and that didn’t happen! I sold the idea of dance lessons to him as “want to go on a few date nights?”We signed up to the Bridal Basics (3 x 1hr classes) and it was perfect!!! The whole experience far exceeded our expectations!Anne Marie was extremely accomodating to our time frame having only made contact 6 weeks out from the wedding. We were absolutely stoked that we were able to learn a whole dance which we didn't think we could do! Anne Marie is so welcoming, patient, supportive and a personal cheerleader of encouragement. Her talent in listening to tunes and coming up with dance moves to suit couples and their vibe is incredible!I’m so glad we did lessons with YFDC, not just for our first dance on the big night but for the memories of connecting with my fiancé in such a fun unique way leading up to the wedding.Couldn't recommend more!

Your First Dance Co helped choreograph our dance for our wedding. Jess was so much help as she helped craft a dance that worked with the song we had picked. We had three 1 hour lessons and found we were able to learn so much in these lessons. We would highly recommend if you are looking to add a little extra to your wedding.

I absolutely love YFDC. Anne-Marie is such an awesome teacher and encouraging person. Getting back into doing adult dance classes has brought me so much joy and I look forward to every class. 10/10 would recommend everyone gives her classes a go. Whether you have experience or are finally starting to learn, it's great. You won't regret doing it.

Anne Marie was super helpful and accomodating she went above and beyond booking in our lessons and getting us through the process. Our beautiful dance Teacher Simone was absolutely amazing she made learning to dance so much fun we gained so much confidence and she was so friendly and lovely to work with, she always made us feel comfortable. THANK YOU Simone you will make me and my partner smile throughout our whole dance it was so worth the lessons to make our First dance so special. She works with you and make sure you look good and chooses a dance that suits you as a couple.I can’t wait to dance my first dance with my husband I’ll be fighting back tears but have the biggest smile on my face to :)

I loved working with Anne Marie on our First Dance and Daddy Daughter Dance. The level of knowledge and wealth of experience Anne Marie has was super evident during the choreography for each different song we had assigned to our two different dances. This was a super special part of our wedding that we wanted to be like a fairy tale and we achieved that from Your First Dance Co.

I would give Anne Marie 10 stars if I could, she was just brilliant. Our dance lessons were so enjoyable. Anne Marie went above and beyond to help us with our first dance. The lessons were such a nice and fun thing to do together as a couple before our big day!

Anne-Marie crafted a perfect father-daughter dance and a bridal dance that were two very different styles and exactly what we were hoping for. They were both well suited to our capabilities, and gave us the confidence to perform in front of our family and friends in a short time frame. Would 100% recommend YFDC for any bridal dance choreography!

As a working mum, it’s hard to get time to do things for yourself. Mondays are especially hard as it’s the first day back to work after the weekend and by the time I get to dance class, I am flagging! However...!! The minute I walk into dance class, it feels like all of that busy-ness doesn’t matter. The ladies in each of my three dance classes come from all different jobs, different places in life and different situations. They are busy too. But when we get to dance class, we are all learning and working together. Miss Anne Marie is just the perfect mix of being knowledgeable and professional, yet personable and fun.Even in the midst of the craziness of my life, I look forward to Monday nights the most. It’s great to work on dance and flexibility goals with like-minded ladies who cheer each other on. If you’re considering doing something for yourself and are worried about your abilities or experience, I would highly encourage you to just give it a try! It will end up being the highlight of your week.
