The staff at Ditto Dancewear are always friendly and knowledgeable. We have shopped online and in store, however a visit to the store is recommended for correct dance shoe fittings (sizes can be tricky!). Thank you for your efficient customer service and see you again soon for more dance gear :-)

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!JANIE GRANT the OWNER of DITTO DANCEWEAR is RUNNING A SWEAT SHOP! I did some sewing for her in OCTOBER 2021 and I'm STILL CHASING HER UP FOR PAYMENT. She UNDERPAYS and uses CHEAP QUALITY FABRIC that's flimsy so she asked me to SEW THEM INSIDE OUT because of the UGLY SHINE!!!

We have been using Ditto Dancewear for years to create my daughter's custom solo dance costumes. Janie and her team use their extensive knowledge of fabrics and design to create well fitting custom designs. They only use the best fabrics sourced here in Australia. We are back for our 2022 costumes.

I was after a specific shoe the store carries, they were out of stock for my size, so I left all my contact information and was assured that the order for the shoes would be placed the same day and should arrive in approximately 3 weeks. When I called to check on my order a month later I discovered that my order had not been placed and they needed a diposit on the shoes, so I had to drive out there to pay the diposit and wait another 3 weeks for the shoes. That's 3 trips out and around 50 days waiting to receive a product the store supposedly carries.

I unfortunately didn't experience good customer service at Ditto Dancewear. Janie's manner was abrupt and condescending rather than informative and helpful. She told me my daughter 'would never be Dame Margot Fonteyn' due to her pronated ankles, which she 'diagnosed' herself and bluntly told me in front of a shop full of customers. My daughter is 6. I came for dance shoes, not a prediction of my daughter's likelihood of becoming a prima ballerina. I will be taking my daughter to a podiatrist to have her ankles checked as I actually value this input, it was the manner in which this was delivered and the offhand comment that was most disappointing.

A hidden gem of a shop. Welcoming and full of advice and tips to support transition into my daughter's second pair of pointe shoes. Great first hand tips and information about how to sew ribbons and elastics to personalise the fit rather than standardised placement. Thank you for your time.
