Fiona + Bobby Photography - Sydney + Blue Mountains Wedding Photographer

So I just finished looking at my final gallery and literally had tears in my eyes. There is something magic about what Fi and Bobby capture - in particular candid shots. Like, did I just attend my own wedding again just by looking at photo's? That kind of magic. Our wedding day went by so fast and to be able to relive it through their images is such a beautiful thing and I’m SO grateful for their amazing talent.Having worked in weddings for the past 5 years it was a tough gig choosing our vendors (as we knew so many awesome ones!). However Fiona and Bobby were the first photographers I got in touch with because I knew they were it.You spend so much time with your photographers on a day that’s filled with your nearest and dearest, so I think it’s super important to find ones that you jell with (maybe even as much as the actual photography!). We were lucky enough to have met Fiona and Bobby at weddings before booking them but, they also have this way of feeling like old friends even if you’ve never met before! It helps so much with getting authentic photos from the day because you feel so comfortable.They’re SO easy to get a long with and fun to be around on the day itself. They also take their job very seriously but, are such experienced professionals that they still have this easy laid back way of going about it.Blake does NOT like photo’s so wasn’t super excited for portraits haha. Fi and Bobby made the portrait session so much fun and we just felt like were hanging out with some buds and happened to catch some snaps along the way. I know I really wanted our relationship captured authentically (not cookie cutter couple photo style) and they nailed it!They were super helpful with putting together a draft run sheet months in advance so we could have an idea of what our day looked like. We had such an informal day planned that I found it hard to put something to paper! It was great we organised the group shots (order, groups etc) before the day so that at the wedding everyone knew what had to happen (even though things like this seem simple enough, it’s super easy to get swept up in the moment!!).They are worth every penny (and then some!). Budgets are important for a wedding but, sitting here two months after the day and being able to look back at all our photos and relive the day….booking amazing photographers is priceless. Both my husband and I, and our bridal party had a lot of fun when getting our bridal party shots. We had the privilege of having this incredible couple capture our wedding day and I could not think of a more perfect pair to do so. Every meeting we had with them seemed to go on for hours - because we would NOT stop talking about life, love, politics, pasts, food, music..oh and a bit of wedding planning. They made us feel so comfortable which allowed us to be our most authentic selves on the day and in turn meant they were able to capture some of the most amazing photographs of our wedding day. Words cannot describe how wonderful this amazingly talented creative duo are. We've been fortunate enough to have Fiona + Bobby capture both our wedding and our first family photos with our baby and we could not have imagined such beautiful results.We're not normally people who like getting our photos taken, but the care and love Fiona and Bobby have for their craft and for people really shines through. Fiona and Bobby made the entire photography process so much fun and easy going!
