Seven weeks to repair 3 way fridge that still did not work on gas .Payed in full for repairs $1349.00.12 months warranty !!!!!Told to take to independant gas fitter . Did so , further $150.00 replaced partially blocked burner jet and working fine.Hindsight, stay away from Dometic. They fail to answer telephone and do not return calls. Only satisfaction is to e-mail service management. Never going back to them.

The team at Varsity Lakes were fantastic. We called first thing in the morning to say we had a fridge problem and we’re travelling through could we drop by and get them to have a look at it. Sure thing and was all sorted in a timely manner. Thanks guys!

Dometic warranty service is totally unacceptable. They do not return phone calls. Will not communicate with their dealers or customers in an acceptable time frame. They do not stand be the product they sell. Our fridge that was fitted 12 months ago has stopped working properly and they don't want to know about it. Certainly wouldn't recommend any Dometic products

My local Air conditioning repair man couldn't locate a part for our domestic unit, within 1 phone call the staff not only help me with the right part but sent it out within days. Thanks Luke.

Possibly the worst after sales service you could find. It takes literal hours on hold to even speak to someone and that's if they're answering their phones at all. Sometimes you just get diviner after waiting on hold for an hr or two. The only person in the company I found that was honest and did as she promised was the receptionist. The rest of the company could learn from her. I've been without my fridge for over 6 months and wishing I'd never bought a Waeco!

Had a warranty issue, apart from having to follow up on emails the process was great.

What a great team at Varsity Lakes , I had a warranty issue with my fridge and was promptly booked in on my arrival from Mackay .We were in contact from the initial call ,to driving out the door after the issue was repaired .The team were friendly and very knowledgeable and talked through what they propose to do .Can't praise them enough .Thank you

A very frustrating experience dealing with the unprofessional customer service office at DOMETIC. Their refusal to honour their warranty on my faulty caravan awning was pathetic. I reported the problem to Supreme Caravan, where i bought the new van , within the 12 month warranty period who directed me directly to DOMETIC who then directed me elsewhere . By this time , the 12 months warranty had lapsed and Dometic backed out using this excuse that it's not their problem now. WOW !!! the Customer Service showed no practical or reasonable assessment on the problem. I have a Dometic fridge giving me a problem also and it has a 3 year warranty. Cant wait to report this problem to them to see how this pans out. I will avoid and Dometic products in the future. A very un-Australian minded business.
