Arnold's Place

Arnold's place is a well kept, modern, spacious house with ample room for the family. There is abundant wildlife including fishing in the Glenelg river located a quick walk away at the end of the street. The owners keep ample bird seed and parrot mix that you are able to use to stock the many bird feeders situated around the garden. It is a wonderful place if you seek peace and quiet and just want to get away and relax. Just returned from our second visit and thinking about a third. The hosts are also very considerate - well worth a visit

Arnold’s Place is a lovely place to stay. The home is situated on a large block which offers plenty of privacy from neighbours. The home is immaculate with a well equipped kitchen. All the cooking utensils & pots & pans are provided. All you need is your food.The home is a good size, large enough for a family with kids. There is a lovely garden with native trees & abundant native birds who come down to feed. There is plenty of space for a boat & Arnold’s Place is on the doorstep of Simpson’s Landing on the beautiful Glenelg River where you can fish, ski or swim. I would highly recommend Arnold’s as a very pleasant holiday home if you plan to stay in Nelson.

Very relaxing, spacious, loved our time here. Especially the wild life, highly recommend.

Best place ever.We have been many times and our kids have stayed there as well.Highly recommended.Pull the car up, put your food in the fridge and light the fire, feed the birds and sit back and think of nothing.......
