Inexpensive clothes on the mall in Darwin

The staff are the loveliest and friendliest in both of the shops.The colours and selections available are fantasticI’m just unlucky .i purchased five lovely pocket summer dresses at a cost of $250.i should have checked the inside of the dresses in store.once i did i found they had frayed edges around the pockets.At first noticed two dresses were frayed and Kerry, the lovely owner, gave me a refund.Kerry took me to the back of the shop and invited me to choose the ones i wanted from her stock. I looked a five frocks…all had the same issues.I then decided to purchase two frock of the same type but without pocketsI should have inspected the other dresses as i now find the same thing on the other two pocket dresses.i also should have inspected the pocketless dresses too. These have really poor overlocking seams.As a tourist we have left Darwin so cant take them back. I will have to get them fixed at a dressmaker. I think i over paid by about $200i really like these dresses that they are ethically made but feel the price should have been $15 market dress price.I’m so sad and disappointed i hate having to write this review but feel the buyer should carefully check their dresses before purchas

The lady today was lovely even though I didn't purchase anything, the prices were too expensive for the style & fabric of garments.

I spent nearly a hundred dollars in there and this lady couldn't even get my baby's name right. Which was deliberate. Her sarcastic manner asking silly questions and being ridiculous has made me not want to return to her shop. Also the garmets weren't in perfect condition and she still sold them. At an expensive price. Which needed altering at home. As returning to her shop for that offered refund is a definite NO!

Friend comes to Darwin every year and always buys from this shop in the city. Today will be the last time as the lady behind the counter was so rude. Businesses are struggling and if she is the best you can do for staff then they will struggle.
