Branxton House Motel

Stay away from this place !!!!!! The manager is so rude !!!!HelloApparently my credit card was declined (it is never declined). The manager of the hotel called me and left a voicemail at 2:24pm. I also received a text from Booking.com at 3:04pm mentioning I could update my credit card details and I had two hours to do so.I called the manager at 2:29 and asked if I could try another credit card and he flatly refused and was very rude offering no other options, he had already obviously booked the room to someone else. This left me on the long weekend having to find alternative accommodation in the Hunter Valley which the closest was more than a 40 minute drive away.

If I could give less then one star I would. Told to walk to train station with 3 heavy bags and being a cancer patient only 1.5 weeks in remission that is difficult. No customer service to find out what time train would be only to arrive there after a15 min walk in the stifling heatbto learn no train for 5 hrs. Then abused by manager when issue was bought up. Absolutely atrocious service. Will be letting all know NEVER EVER stay here. Cleanliness of bathrooms also DISCUSTING.

Nice clean, large room. Recently renovated bathroom. Bed a little old.

Quick easy check in. Pays to call & doDirect booking, cash, Sat night. $145.Rooms clean, comfortable, fan & aircon.Huge double bed, Single bed, fridge & amenities in room. Free wifi. Rooms 2 & 3. Recently renovated. Smaller bathroom in 3, but over all very nice.Great customer service fron Sam.

Disastrous stay, first they inflated the price by over $110.00 of their normal rate on the night because there was an event on nearby. The room (room 15, it seems to be a converted space to make another hotel room) had a foul smell and the wardrobe was a freestanding clothes ironing rack, the bed was hard and the room was in very poor condition. We bought this to the attention of the owner but she just shrugged her shoulders. Booked through wotif, guess some places are just lemons. Not recommended at all.

What a fantastic place to stay at Branxton. Clean and tidy room. The Manager was so polite and accommodating.Absolutely Recommended.

really lovely room, honestly one of the nicest i have been in for quite a while. comfy beds big bathroom with a good shower and had a real homey feel. reception staff were lovely. Will not hesitate to come back again

Absolutely spot on.Recommend anyone to stay here.So Friendly and nothing was too much.Ended up having to stay extra couple of nights and was no problem.Room so clean with attention to detail,can’t fault a thing.Will be back Thank you
