Sergio’s Cake Shop Merrylands

I went to Sergio in Merrylands to buy a medium chocolate mud cake and the girl said it’s for $40, I paid by card and when I looked at my account they were charged me $47. So why don’t Sergio put the prices for each displayed cake or at least show them online to know how much we are going to pay and to see how much are they going to charge us.And the other mistake happened in 2021 when I asked for medium cake to find out it was the large expensive one and there was a big purple spot inside the cake with a bad taste that mousse cake was a disaster

We heard a lot about Sergio cakes in Merrylands Stockland mall. We placed an order for vanilla sponge cake with fruits and rainbow pony as a picture on top. Ordered placed on 8th December for pick up on 12th December for my daughter’s birthday party. We explicitly mentioned that we want vanilla cake as my daughter will not eat chocolate. We paid $74.90 as a full payment on 8th December. We picked up the cake on 12th as dinner party was organised. Cake was looking so nice but when we cut the cake, surprised to us it was all chocolate from inside. Birthday party got ruined and birthday girl ended up in tears. Last thing for any parents to see crying birthday girl. No one ate the cake.We went to Sergio raise our concern and to get some compensation. They promised to ring us back which never happened. When we followed up they expect us to bring the cake back to get refund. They were so rude to my wife and showed no respect. It was their mistake and they should take full responsibility.Not recommending Sergio cakes to anyone. Worst customer service ever.

They have a great range of celebration cakes and you can get your own made to order or choose one from their book. You can get a whole cake or slices. Getting the slices is a great way to test out their cakes and find one you like. The red velvet cake was amazing. Definitely recommend. The Black Forrest cake was great too.

John makes the best coffee in merrylands by far.Alsoi good for a yarn.Highly recommend.

Sergios cafe in Merrylands is my number 1 coffee shop to go!!!From their customer service to their coffees and cakes,I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!I have been going there for many years now and I have never gotten a bad coffee,cake or service…I love going there and having a chat with the beautiful ladies that work there while enjoying my coffee and babycinno with my kids…I have bought many cakes from them for special occasions or just to eat withmy kids and they are always been fresh and delicious.The owners are john and his dad,whom I always have a chat and a laugh with..I have always felt welcome and with allthe coffee shops in stockland mall, I wouldn’t go anywhere else…I highly recommend them.

Went in today and bought 6 pieces of different cakes. All cakes were old and dry, and the chocolate mouse cake had started to go sour. The kiwi on top of one of the cakes was like jelly, and the custard was bitter. Should have known better when the lady offered us 6 pieces for $20. First time trying them out, and I definitely won't be going back again.

I bought 5 cake slices today and they looked beautiful but to my disappointment every piece was dry, hard and uneatable. They tasted like they had been sitting there for at least a week!How can you sell such disgusting cakes?The staff must know how long they have been there.Everything we bought was binned. So disappointed that I went and found your shop to write this review.

I bought the Oreo cake for my nephew's Birthday, and it was the most horrible cake I've ever had.It was very dry and old, like it had been sitting there for a very long time.I paid $57 for this very decrepit cake.

Outstanding experience and service. Coffee was expertly crafted and the service was efficient and friendly. A delightful array of cakes and ice cream as well.
