We used Solargain to install a system on our previous home several years ago and we're very happy with the result, so decided to use them again for our new home. As before the staff were very helpful, the process was smooth, and we look forward to a system that works just as well as the old one

I did a lot of research before choosing Solargain and was attracted by the backing of IKEA. We got great service from Paul, working out what we needed and answering our many questions. He was a pleasure to deal with.The installation was quick and painless, we have had no problems since. We love the app, checking when we have power to burn and changing our habits to suit eg running the washing machine in the day not overnight. We also heat or cool our house during the day to reduce our power use at night as the house is already warm/cool. Our electricity bills are very small now and our gas is reduced to as we used to use it to heat and cook which we don't do now .We recommend Solargain to our friends.

They try to sell me outdated 5kw trina panels solar system for $6300. The price is marked up. Be careful, don’t get made china panels for such a high price.

Dealing with Solargain was a breeze from getting the quote before any other company and to a complete install 3 days later. Great communication and a seamless job. I’m 100% happy with the service and the work and my missus is just happy with hot water!!

Sales and installation were excellent BUT after sales service is deplorable. System has been out of service for nearly 6 weeks and they have NO technicians is NSW to inspect the problem. Now costing us heaps. Not happy!

I had great help from Paul to select the inverter to best suit my needs. We did have miner communication issues with the equipment but is being sorted out quickly. The installation team were quick and had no problems with my preference of placement of equipment. I would highly recommend them.

We have had our solar system installed for a month, and it is hands down the best money we've ever spent. After years of researching, and feeling disheartened at the lack of transparent information about solar systems and the install process, but really wanting to make the switch to a more sustainable power source, we got an email from IKEA saying they had partnered with Solargain. From the start our sales rep, Paul, was polite, professional, answered our many questions about system sizes and what would be best for our family. At no point was did we feel pressured to commit, which is a massive thing for a family currently on one income. Our install coordinator, Christy, was kind and honest about the wait times for installs due to the high demand of solar uptake (totally understandable and personally I love to see it). A previous reviewer mentioned they had their install pushed out - so was ours. We were advised this was due to an installer being let go for sub-standard workmanship, and creating a back log, but honestly I was more than happy to wait. If you're dropping a decent amount of money on a product, you do want it all done perfectly. The installers were lovely, thorough and again answered my many questions. Overall the whole experience was how I'd always hope it would be! Thank you.

Poor, Unreliable & Unprofessional serviceSolarGain installed 28 panels on my roof. They handed over the system on 24/5/22. During handover, they did not explain how the monitoring of the system work and any details of the solar system installed.After 2 wks unable to monitor the system, I had to call Solargain. They sent out their technician twice before enabling my access to the monitoring system. Then it was noted that although the monitoring was on, the panels themselves were off and I had to inform this to Solargain. They then sent the technician gain to correct this.Since then 2 panels are still not working. I have had to contact SolarGain again to inform them of this. It is unbelievable that SolarGain after the 3rd callout would not check to ensure the panels are all working before signing off on their job.It is now July and SolarGain (Joel Pyzer) has avoided my call and still not sorted the issue.Solargain seem quick to take payment but is very slow to solve their own problems when the system is not working.Appalling service from the whole customer service team, who do not take responsibility and keep passing the buck. When you ask to be put to the manager, they seem to use delaying tactic and state they will call you back (but that never happens).I would not recommend SolarGain.

I found Solargain through their IKEA partnership. Paul, the sales guy, was fantastic. Patient, knowledgeable and not pushy. Decided on a system with the help of Paul. The installation stage is where it went pear-shaped. They didn’t turn up the first time. Had to call to chase them up. The second time, I was told it was too windy. No real wind at my house, though. No one followed up to schedule in a third install attempt. I’d had enough with the lack of communication. Emailed to cancel. Unbeknownst to me, the third installation date had apparently been set. Too little, too late. Maybe they’re stretched thin because of the IKEA partnership and some customers slip through the cracks? Not sure. But the customer communication at the installation stage leaves a lot to be desired.Edit: the response below says it was raining. It was 100% not raining on the day of the second installation attempt, nor the day or night before. Changing my review from 2 stars to 1, for lying.

Solargain installed our system with tesla powerwall at a cost of nearly $30,000, that process was smooth and efficient . The system was working beautifully and the savings were amazing. Well that was until November 13, 2022 when the Fronius inverter stopped working showing error signal. We immediately contacted solargain on the phone number on the panel . Initially Solargain appeared to be on the ball as it was a warranty repair, well were we WRONG. It is now January 9th 2023 and the system is still not working!!! Constant emails have been sent and most not responded to . It is almost as though we do not exist, they were very happy to take our money but as soon as something goes wrong they don't want to know , let alone fix the problem . Excuses when I did get a response range from waiting for Fronius to send part ect, as of today the latest excuse is they do not have a technician to do the repairs but I bet anything they have technicians to do the installation ! I feel this is totally inexcusable behaviour from such a large company. I had 2 chats on the online chat portal and both time I was assured that someone would get back to me within 24 hours, well surprise that didn't happen , surprise! No time frame has been given to do the work at anytime , so we could be looking at weeks or months. Then it was suggested I find my own technician to do the repair work , well that will be the end of the warranty if anything else goes wrong, it is just not good enough. At this point in time I feel we have wasted $30,000 and have a system that does not work . Our disappointment in this company is huge all we want is to have our system back up and running. I do not have any hesitation in NOT recommending this company to anyone who is thinking of installing solar. Buyer beware !!!!
