I can not speak more highly of this nursing home. I had the pleasure of completing my nursing prac with this organisation in Sept 2020.Whilst there I was able to see the caring and nuturing nature each nurse/staff member had towards their residents. Each resident is well known and cared for by every staff member. The general feel of the home is like its a big family.Every staff member provided professional, person centred care, ensuring that all needs of each resident is met.The home is very clean and all protocols/policies are followed to ensure the safety and quality care of each resident. I highly recommend this nursing home if you are looking for care for your loved one.

I have had the pleasure of completing a 2 week placement, the environment, atmosphere, all of the staff are so welcoming, approachable and caring. I’ve really enjoyed the 2 weeks I was there, I’m very grateful for their time, patience and the opportunity for me to complete my placement. I would highly recommend any other students and anyone looking for aged care facility.

Overall pleasent place to visit, fun activities for all residents and family. Staff are friendly, caring and loving to all residents. Highly recommend.

As like name we can feel very homely environment.Management provide residents a very family atmosphere with refreshment activities, proper resources and high standard of nursing practice.Each and every staff member are so kind, friendly, caring and helpful. I had a very good time with them.

Opal is an outstanding aged care facility in Dubbo, I can not recommend the team highly enough. The management and staff have created such a loving family atmosphere for the residents. The care and the activities for the residents are personalised and enjoyed by all. I have no doubt, from my experience, if considering Opal, your loved one will be cared for at the highest level in their senior years.

The experience was wonderful. All the team members where very cooperative. The registered nurses where willing to explain any questions we ask and also ask us question which helps in enhancing our knowledge. The resident's were marvelous, always with a smile on their faces. Opal Aged Care is a very big happy home, happy I was here.
