Tips for visiting the mountain: Highly recommend grabbing some takeaway food from the street if you don’t want to pay for over-priced food on the lookout point. We walked the whole street looking for sandwiches but gladly find this shop do Bento! (They call it Teishoku?) The only problem is it’s not warm anymore as we have it pretty late, but acceptable, can tell they use good sushi rice and meat! Will come back to try their hot pot next time with dine-in, looks delicious!

10/5 starsI wasn't expecting a complete overhaul of MK, but after dining there I will be going way more often.I joined my friends and immediately was greeted with some tea.I decided to get some simple Udon and got a beautiful dish. My friends and I agree the food is amazing, tastes as good as it looks.Afterwards we were given some orange slices.Amazing service the entire time, this is going to be one of my favourite places to go to in Katoomba.

10/10 Great Japanese food, very authentic flavour! Every dish we ordered are presented well and every dish just taste good. Its a great place for family dining, especially the Sukiyaki they serve is just like the ones I had in Japan. Food recommendation: Sukiyaki, Wagyu and ice cream.

Was here for the soft open. Service was lovely, you order by marking on the menu which is great if you get nervous ordering. They serve you tea when you sit down, which made me very happy!Food was amazing! Big portions and the teishoku sets are great value for money. I got the gyoza and the tonkousu curry set which was delicious! I couldn't finish it all.

The sukiyaki at this place is absolutely phenomenal, especially on the mountain, the sukiyaki just make me warm and comfort, it offers very authentic Japanese flavours as well. The beef is incredibly tender, the broth is rich and packed with exquisite flavors, and they even provide a raw egg for dipping! I highly recommend the Wagyu beef, it's not only delicious but also reasonably priced. It was a delightful experience to cook this hot dish together with my family, adding to the overall enjoyment.
