Easy 2 km walk up hill to Sun Dial lookout.Some wooden board walks over streams.Beautiful rock formationsToilet in carpark.Well worth it.Highly recommend.

Spacious enough car park with lots of shade. There are toilets close to the parking, which is quite useful since the lookout points are at quite long walking distances. Make sure you get your own water and visit washrooms before you come, since I don't really remember seeing any water source or toilets around. It is quite clean, well maintained and well kept!

Good car park with drop toilets and this is the start of Lake view walk, sundial peak and one of the tracks to the Pinnacle. This is the easiest way to walk to the Pinnacle. Short walk back on the road is mushroom rock which sits just off of the road.

Sundial Carpark
The carpark is quite good condition, with basic toilet facilities and information board. From here you can take an easy short walk to the Lakeview Lookout, where you can have good view of Mount William Range and Lake Bellfield. Or take the longer walks, about 2 to 4 km, the Silent Street Loop, The Pinnacle or The Sundial Peak.

Note access from NORTH GRAMPIANS RD (north of the town ‘centre’) only - if you’re coming from the south (near the lake) it will send you on the wrong way (road is closed). Minimal spaces

Small carpark but a good starting point for taking a hike to the Pinnacle lookout. Don't forget to take some water & maybe a picnic for when you reach the lookout. Remember to take your rubbish with you.

The 'easier' of the two routes to the Pinnacle, doesn't go through the Grand Canyon etc but is less crowded and better for the very little ones.

Sundial Carpark
Sundial carpark is one of the entry points to hike to the Grampians Pinnacle. It is 2.1km hike to the Pinnacle. This hike is a grade 3 for moderate climbers with few slippery spots on the way depending on the weather. Some of the most amazing views in the Grampians Highcountry on this track. There are approximately 15 car spots and couple of picnic tables.
