service could definitely be better, felt rushed even when there was an hour and a half left before closing time. food was okay but have had better elsewhere. was quite a few side dishes which was nice.

We only had the regular meal options since you were required to order two minimum dishes to have kbbq. The soup was great and a good variety of sides but I didn’t enjoy the taste of the sides as much.Prices have gone up quite a bit since the menu on Zomato but still a great place for budget Korean food.

Mapo is such an amazing place to come and eat with your friends and family!! Me and my family have been coming to mapo galbi for about 10 years and it has never disappointed us. The food Is worth its price and so many side dishes :)

Food is delicious I've been coming here for more then 10yrs very friendly service wise I recommend this place for anybody who wants to enjoy korean bbq oh almost forgot many different side dishes yummy

Wanted to come here again since before the construction the food and service was amazing. Now the service was horrible. Sat down at the table and was served by a lady. I asked kindly about a dish and she simply said I don't know" so I asked if she could ask someone. The lady walked off and didn't come back (we didn't even finish ordering our food). We waited for 5-10 mins as my partner and I could see her laughing away with another waitress. We decided to walk out as it was obvious that we weren't taken care of and couldn't even order our food. I'm writing this as I hope the owner retrains their staff as I have always had an amazing experience previously before the renovation and it's a disappointment that their service went down hill."

Yummy bbq but the beef soup was a bit tame with no taste. The restaurant is spacious and you can have a large group. I didn't need to book as there was plenty of table. The service was good.

Food was ok. Not the best quality meat but not the worst either. We come here often as it was convenient n spacious (as I have young kids and pram). The reason for 1 star is due to tonight's service. There were 4 of us including 2 young kids. I asked if we can sit in the bigger table as I'm worried my toddler would touch the bbq if we sit in the smaller ones and also there weren't enough space for all the food. They said no as there were only 4 of us. I would've been ok with this if the restaurant was even half full. But it was empty on a Fri night 6.30pm. There were only 4 tables occupied out of at least 20ish tables.When our orders came (meat + soup), they didn't even know where to put it. In the end we managed but with alot of struggle and it was hard to enjoy my dinner when I'm constantly making sure my toddler doesn't touch the bbq and moving dishes around for space.When we left at 8.30pm, the restaurant was still empty.Sadly they just lost a regular customer. The food isn't good enough for me to come back after tonight's treatment. Too many kbbq out there so definitely would go to others from now on.

I am a regular customer here for my family and friends.The owner is quite good at service. Staffs are very hard working and friendly. They always smile making customers happy.Beef rib is very nice here.Strongly recommended.
