Indian Grill @ Ballarat
My partner and I had dinner here for the first time tonight, and we were extremely happy with our food. My partner is a very picky eater and even him was quiet enjoying the meal. We looked at each other while we ate and just smiled, having a gastronomic experience in our mouths. We Loved it. The food, the place, the ambiance, the service. All more than we expected.

Honestly, being Indian myself, I would not recommend this place to fellow eaters wanting to have Indian food. I'm not sure it's because ballarat is like a tourist place for some and this is one of those tourist food places where you only go once and so restaurant knows this and dont care ?Starters might have decent flavour but definitely not sufficient for what they charge. Most starters are like 6 to 7 pieces as to what we were told when we questioned about our starter.The naans were decent and fluffy. However, the curry was not good. It has the meat that's been left over from the grill, i suppose. We could clearly see that one side of the meat is burnt and dark while the other sides are not.

Good service, very hygienic place and a vast range of dishes in the menu. Also serve liquor. Wheelchair friendly and kid friendly. Easy to spot from the main road and has a few parking spots within the building. Dishes were mildly spicy, so if you’re looking for authentic Indian taste- request them to to have medium-high spice level.

We had the Family pack and it was amazing value for money. Food was fresh and delicious and prepared very efficiently. Everything was packaged thoughtfully for takeaway. We love having dinner here every time we come to Ballarat, highly recommend!

The staff was really nice, the food was delish though the prawn curry had only 5 pieces with a lot of sauce. Love the garlic and riceThe potato curry was also a delish

We found the place to be well managed and well priced. Food quality and portions were very good although their version of Grilled mushroom was very different to our previous experiences. There is a good variety of dishes and beers at sensible prices. We will definitely go back again soon.

First time eating here. Delicious curries and an interesting mix of fusion Asian dishes, too. Very friendly service. Fast delivery. Curries can be made to mild, medium or got. Reasonable prices and a fair drinks list.
