Big shady walnut tree.Helped ourself to some.Very peaceful place on the river with shelter,toilet table and chairs.Great spot

A short distance from the walkers camp. Very pretty river spot, good for swimming. Lots of table space and shade of a big old walnut tree.

Drove from Nelson on the North Nelson Road and River Road which are in good shape bar same big potholes.Pattersons Walkers Camp is 10 minutes walk from River Road and further 10 minutes to the Canoe Camp.The walnuts are tasty and easy to crack.
