Ekodeck

I have installed some 35 boards around the home making a glorious deck. I have been impressed with the installation system . Its very easy to do by a handyman like me. The Boards get warm in the full sun but not overly hot and the best is they are not slippery at all when wet. Customer service when needing some extra clips or screws was prompt and generous . The support has been great.Very strong and top quality product with looks to match .

Great product, I like the two sided colour boards which I used on this project as breaker boards. Easy to work with and quick to install.

Absolutely LOVE our Ekodeck! We decked the back patio, around the pool and a small patio at the front of the house. We also used the Ekoscreening for a gate and we are intending on using more of the screening to close in our pool pump and bins out the front.It was a lot easier to use than we thought, it cut nicely with a drop saw, even when we had to use a jigsaw to cut wround our pool lid, it all cut nicely and with a tiny bit of sanding you can't even tell its cut. Me and my husband are quite handy, but not tradies and would work with it again.My favourite part is that we don't have to maintain it at all, which is a huge bonus as when we built a deck for our first house with timber, staining/oiling the deck yearly was a nightmare.We love the look it gives our house and intend to use the some of the off cuts to make some steps out the front.It does get a bit hot in the sun, but its no different to when we had pavers or plain timber at our old house.The only negative we had was we ordered it in March last year and had to wait 2 months to get it, but that was a Bunnings distribution centre issue and we are all the way up in Far North Queensland, it certainly was worth the wait though, I love our outdoor area.

I found Ekodeck to be very easy to work with I used the 6 mm quick fix kit and it made the job a breeze. The standard clips make it easy to fix and space correctly along with the locking clips and c clips it's a great system to use and I would highly recommend this product.

excellent product easy to use and install , only one criticism is that is does get hot in direct sunlight

I emailed them for some samples first.Then called them for help .Very helpful and advised me what to look for and order with bunnings.It was a very easy process and product to install.Love the clips that come with it easy to use .Thanks for your help.

The product itself is fit for purpose, but think $109 dollars for a bucket of extra clips is excessive. Also, the gauge of the screws is insufficient when going into hardwood underbearers, with a high rate of shear off. The only option is to predrill which adds lots of time to a build. Cost of tabs and piddling screws is my only.issue

We built a deck around our pool with Ekodeck backbeach. We are really happy with the outcome, it looks great and isn't slippery even when wet. Only drawback is that when it is in full sun in summer it gets quite hot but it isn't really a problem as we just splash some water on it or wear thongs when this occurs. The material was pretty easy to work with, the only time where it was a bit difficult was chiseling out a notch to fix a lid cover handle.

Ekodeck I love it. Good looking afterWhen decking is completed installed.The quality is very good also and the colour does not fade.
