This mine tour was fantastic. So very interesting, from start to finish and the tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend it. The mine tour was the main reason we came to Walhalla as I thought my son would love it and I'm glad we did :)

Take a day trip from Melbourne out to this Hidden Gem!We have been on a few mine tours over the years and this one certainly surprised us both.We were blown away by how much history was in this little town.Clayton our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the tour had so much history to view on hand such as old equipment etc.Would highly recommend spending the day out in Walhalla.

I have experienced this tour a few times over the years, and this was one of the best as my 83 year old mother came along.The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and thoughly enjoyable to listen to, which made our day.

The guided tour was led by Haley and it was worth knowing the facts of this gold mine. The tunnel is very close to the beautiful Walhalla town.

Well maintained History. Friendly Staff. Enjoyed the whole trip inside the tunnel. Our Guide has explained the stories of the tunnel.Inside tunnel was very cold. Try wear full sleeves and jackets.prefer to book in advance.Note - Don't get scared as there is a horn sound at start of the trip.

I recently visited the Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine in Walhalla, Victoria, and it was an incredible experience. It was truly a worthwhile visit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about the rich history of gold mining in Australia.Overall, my experience at the Long Tunnel Extended Gold Mine was fantastic. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about the local history of the area, and I left feeling enriched and enlightened. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by and see it for yourself!

Educational and Interesting tour service. Tour times are limited and group sizes are also limited,it’s better to Pre-book.Learned a lot about the gold mines, process of mining in the past, the hardships of people and how a small town flourished with mining India, and the collapse of the mine. The effort taken to preserve and present the story of gold mining is impressive.A must visit in Victoria
