Not much of a vantage point sadly but the weather was unfavourable. It is a single lane out of the way road, with a sharp turn on a blind corner off the main road to get there. The location has a prominent “picnic” sign visible from the road but the Obi lookout sign was obscured by vegetation.

Obi Lookout
Obi Lookout is a favourite vantage point where we take our visitors to Maleny or go alone to kick back with a morning tea or picnic lunch. Most times we are the only visitors and the peace and quiet are very relaxing. The views are superb and most enjoyable. No restrooms, easy parking and a picnic table; we usually take our camping chairs.

Worth a brief detour to enjoy sweeping views and fresh air as well as a possible encounter with some curious cows. Picnic table available.
