I paid $150 for a cramped small room with stains on the shower floor. Soon realised it was a backpackers for the one young crew .Packed my bag and left.would not recommend this place place to anyone .Lost $150 to travel home and sleep in my car own bed.

Great hostel and I would absolutely stay here again! The location is fantastic and the on site parking is a bonus. The rooms are small but well equipt with individual power points, lights, and lockers. The bathroom was cleaned roughly every second day. Massive kitchen and lots of different communal areas, all of which were always clean and tidy.

Abode was actually a really good hostel. Pretty clean, nice people, great beds, bathroom in the room, great location, and an overall calm, chill style. Really enjoyed staying here, even if for one night!

Beautiful hostel, very aesthetic and great customer service. The hostel was generally clean unfortunately we found the bathroom in our room was only cleaned once in the time we were there (2 nights) and even when it was there was clumps of hair left on the shower floor (there was no one staying in our room with long brown hair so not sure how long housekeeping ignored the hair there). Free car park and use of a nice pool are all reasons to book! Overall would definitely stay here again but would maybe not bother opting for the ‘deluxe’ room as it wasn’t quite up to our expectations.

From the time you arrive, staff will make you feel welcome. Rooms basic but comfy. Each bed has power and light. Sunday night they put on free wine, and I met so many wonderful people as a result. Very impressed with my stay. Kudos.

Nice hostel in a great location, only a few minutes to the beach and the esplanade with some shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.. Bus station right outside the front door for public transport. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hostel is very clean, nice big kitchen, common areas, pool/table tennis, and much more. The room is also very well equipped. Curtains on each bed, charging station and lamp, locker and air conditioning. The bathroom was directly accessible from the room and was very clean and adequate in size. Overall, I had a great stay and would absolutely recommend the hostel!

This was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. I felt incredibly safe and everything was very clean. Loved the pool and location is a short walk to town. Only down side is they ran out of parking one night, but there is street parking just a bit away. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience! I recommend Abode for anyone travelling solo, you’ll leave the place having made atleast one new friend. Everyone is friendly here and the place has great vibes. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen space is clean and the location is quite central so an easy walk to the beach and bars. I would come back here for sure!

We had an amazing stay at the Abode Mooloolaba Hostel! The staff was very kind during our whole stay and made sure we were good! The kitchen and common areas was very clean and so was the rooms! If we ever come back we would definitely stay here again!Thank you so much for a great time!

Staff are simply so so lovely. Energy is great. So handy to every thing. Had a hire car I didn't use! Very open vibe. Generous.
