Just had a beautiful verandah installed by Matt and his team. I honestly couldn't be happier. Matt gave us a great price, the work was done on time and the quality of materials and workmanship is unbeatable. I highly recommend Matt the pergola man.

Do I have to even do 1 star I emailed for a quote and then followed up with a call. This was November 2021 obviously a very busy time. You came for a quote and when I followed enquiring about quote several weeks later, the reply was, are you sure it was me I don’t remember you. Seriously how unprofessional is that. I had your business card, so yes it was you. I text and advised the date that you came. Yes was the response, I’ll send you a quote - nothing. My $30k pergola went to some else who deserved 5 stars. Maybe you should not bother coming out to homes if you are way too busy to quote.

We have had a few big jobs built by Matt at Pergola Man, they have always done a fab job, turned up on time, gutters and down pipes always perfect. Our latest pergola was amazing, no leaks even though it has been one of our wettest Winters. We would highly recommend The Pergola Man for your next pergola or decking.

This is the second time I engaged the Pergola Man. I am extremely disappointed in the service received. I have had to keep calling to get updates or timelines. Booking dates keep moving. Now built the installer took it upon himself to change the location of the downpipe. Trying to get this rectified we are getting no contact although promises it will be done. I was given confirmation that the job will be rectified today but installer has advised that was never confirmed and wont be coming. Matt keeps dodging calls. I have now been waiting 3 weeks to have this rectified to match original plans. The constant delay is pushing other trades out and causing flooding. I would never use this service again or recommend to anyone.

We are so happy with our verandah extension. Matt was very professional and helpful initially and then Darren and his dad did a fantastic job of erecting it in a very short span of time. They cleaned up the area and also took away all old material. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs a professional job done.

While Matt was very friendly and professional and the final product was good and installed timely, the installers were average, with little eye for detail. Their safety performance during the install was way below standard. The cost of the project was acceptable. We also wanted a deck installed but it was not possible to get a quote after weeks of repeated asking. Thanks Matt for the overall effort.

The job was: cover our entire driveway ie 100 msq of a non-trivial shaped carport. We got these guys to redo the quote from another company that gave us a few red flags. Matt came to the party on several things including price. They came in and completed the job in a timely way without any major issues and the final product is beautiful. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend them and the tradies he used any day of the week. Matt is a really accommodating guy and it certainly felt like you were dealing with a friend.
